Once again a sensational location to base ourselves for the annual fishing trip to Twizel. Our second time staying here and after not being able to book it last year I was told by the other guys to make sure I got in early to get us back here once again. Seamless transaction again and all expectations were met. Terrific place to stay !

Three families (12 in total) stayed over the school hplidays. Such a great space for all of us, plenty of games for the kids, the three bathrooms are a great help with a large group, warm with the fire and heat pumps. Lots to explore in the local region. Checkin and out process was super easy and great comms from the hosts. We had a fabulous stay, thanks very much!

Good location to go to Mount Cook and Tasman Glacier

Had a great 8 day stay in Twizel. The house was great, well located and commend Sue and Richard for looking after us. We'll be back

We had a wonderful stay. Woke up on the 1st morning to a snow dump. It snowed all day. Snowman built on front lawn, snowball fights all around and a warm, cosy house to relax in. The house was comfortable and homely. Plenty of wood for the fire and we needed it! Kitchen could do with a few more bits … more pots, a colander etc otherwise good. It was all we needed and we would stay again.

stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. communication with host was supportive and understanding with the possibility of number of guests changing and electrical issue. bedrooms a great size and plenty of games, utensils and spaces. very warm (considering family over from tropical Queensland).

we enjoyed our stay .Just the squeaky floors and the mains water tap would have a few people struggling,but otherwise all good,handy to town and some awesome views from upstairs.

Super easy, clear instructions, clean as, little bit chilly on arrival but heat pumps and fire sorted it out quick.

Great place with an interesting loft space which kept the older kids entertained! It was cosy and warm during the colder days and nights. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. Recommend this listing 100%

Our stay at this property was nothing short of perfect. The house felt like a home away from home which is what we needed after a stressful few months. Everything we needed was easy to find and ready. We are already looking forward to saying again.

Cute comfortable cottage in Twizel. Had all the amenities and more. The kitchen was well stocked too. Loved the fireplace. The check-in process could have been smoother. Overall, this place is highly recommended
