Mill Valley, California
Beautiful and comfortable family home, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with a pool and hot tub. The house faces south and east, which makes for beautiful sunrises and sunny rooms. Five minute walk to downtown Mill Valley, a charming small town with boutiques, restaurants and majestic Old Mill Park. 15 miles north of San Francisco, easy access to hiking and mountain biking trails on Mt Tam. The house is 40 miles to wine country, 10 miles to the Pacific, 5 miles to Muir Woods, and less than a mile to quaint downtown Mill Valley with its restaurants, shopping and coffee.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were very comfortable and the location is excellent. The house is even better than the photos!
Our family had such a fun week staying at this Mill Valley home. It was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The girls loved the pool and walking to get ice cream. We loved the market down the street and hikes outside the back door. It was super easy to get to downtown and the surrounding areas like Stinson Beach and Muir Woods. Parking at the house was a breeze. We walked into town almost every day and enjoyed the patio at night. Mill Valley is quaint town away from the tourists and we felt like locals for the week. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with your family.
Stayed a week..8 of us, had plenty of room. Very quiet location with great views. Pool and hot tub great for the kids. Parking a little tough..make sure your drivers are confident! Great location to Napa, Dtown SF. Mill valley nice little town.
The home and property was beautiful, spacious, and met our needs for a family vacation. We enjoyed easy road trips to nearby Stinson beach, Muir woods, and Sausalito. The owners were responsive to our questions promptly. We had a wonderful stay!
The pictures of this property do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised by both the layout of the home and the views from the front windows. As a party of 5 with my mother in tow, we had plenty of room to spread out in the living spaces and the outdoor areas. The kitchen layout was beautiful with plenty of space to have family over for wine and horderves. The sunrises were worth getting up for and the gardens provided tranquility. We enjoyed day trips to Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Pacifica, San Francisco's Piers, Nappa, and Lagunitas - All within an hour or less. The property may be a bit difficult to find in the dark and you do need to be able to navigate steps to enter. We make a few trips to the area each year and definitely would like to return to this home if it is available.
