Stayed Aug 29, 2025Great location and house which is in process of improvements. We enjoyed our stay despite rainy weather. Host was not willing to grant any flexiblity with checkin or checkout times on a holiday weekend which is rare in my experience with VRBO properties. Overall, a very fun and positive experience and would recommend the house to others.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Overall, the house was very nice. Beds were comfortable, AC and lights were working, and we loved the sunroom. We all had a great time and are willing to rent this house again. However, the following issues (easy fixes) included having the microwave not working, the washer/dryer not working, and the outdoor fridge not working. We were also disappointed that we had to go buy our own toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc.) and had to go buy trash bags. Would also be better if we had better pots and pans for cooking. If it wasn't for the issues that was listed, it would easily be a 5 star review. The issues are easy fixes.

Stayed Dec 2, 2022We loved this location, close to the town of Mabank, which had lots of amenities. We stayed here to visit Canton Trade Days which was also a short drive. House was beautiful with comfortable beds and lovely back patio to the lake!

Stayed Jul 1, 2022We paid $1900 for three nights we found the property to not meet our expectations. There was pubic hair in the bathtub, ants on the kitchen cabinet, none of the sheets fit the beds very well, you could barely close the freezer door because there was so much defrost in there from the broken ice maker. Just a handful of washrags I just expected more.
