Private Cartecay River Home w/ Hot Tub & Game Room

Cabin was perfect, hot tub, game room were enjoyable and the creek is beautiful.

great place to stay. really enjoyed cabin and great location. only knock was having to schedule showers as water heater was undersized for 10 people

Everything about this home is perfect. Stocked with everything you need and more. Beds are comfortable and the layout is great for large groups. The host even provides tubes so you can tie up and float in the river. Peaceful environment yet it’s only 7 minutes to downtown and grocery stores. The perfect location!

We had an amazing time; the home was everything we had expected. A beautiful location, peace and quiet as we all needed. Will book this property again.

Everything from booking to checkout was seamless and problem-free. Great location steps away from the Cartecay River, and plenty of room for our family of 9 adults and 3 children. The host is available with a phone call and was very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing experience! Absolutely beautiful cabin with the best beds we have ever slept on in a rental. Location super close to shopping area and within 8 minutes we were at the grocery store. Fully equipped with everything you need including outdoor games. Backyard was amazing and being on the river was a great experience. Would recommend to everyone and we plan on booking again during the summertime to enjoy the river and backyard more.

Our family has stayed in multiple rentals in over 10 trips to the North GA mountains. Tubing and chillin' on the Cartecay River is the draw for us, and the thoughtful, safe river access of this home (steps with railings) are the best we've experienced. Young children and grandparents alike are OK entering the river here where the river bottom is smooth and easy to navigate.We were struck at how clean this home was--starting with the decks and outdoor furniture and hot tub. (And they change the hot tub water after each rental, wow!)Four king beds were sturdy with amazing mattresses. Great for deep sleep after a day at the river. The appliances (refrigerator, washer and dryer, oven) seem new and everything works! Kathy, the local property manager, was very kind and responsive to our (few) questions. We hope to make this our Ellijay hone for summers to come!

This is our third stay and we will be back again! All the bedrooms are very comfortable and the amenities are plentiful. You can’t beat this spot on the river. Our children have a blast tubing and swimming. The adults love winding down the day in the hot tub. The owner is very nice and responsive to whatever we need. This one is a gem for sure!

First time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. Upon walking in felt very inviting and relaxing. Enjoyed all the amenities … tubes available to use in the river, cornhole/bags were fun, also enjoyed the pool table, shuffleboard, arcade game, hot tub, and the back deck is fantastic! That was our favorite space. Washer dryer seemed brand new. All 7 of us slept well and felt right at home.Home is located in a nice quiet area only 10 minutes from grocery shopping. You’d never know you’re that close to town. One of our trips back to the house we saw a bear in the woods very near the home! Also saw deer across the river nibbling on plants.Lots to do in the area. Many great restaurants close by (River Street Tavern, The Roof); explored Blue Ridge (2nd Story Entertainment minigolf, Southern Charm, shops); Amicalola Falls and a day trip to the Georgia Aquarium (whale sharks & manta rays!!). But our favorite thing to do was sit on the back deck and enjoy the scenery and family time ❤️ We have stayed at several different properties over the years in different states. You won’t regret staying at this one. Would definitely come back!!
