Private 10 BR Estate: Ranch House, Farmhouse & Bunkhouse at Rockin’ View Ranch!

This property was truly amazing and Kim was the most helpful, responsive host one could hope for! If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

We had up to 25 family members gather over 5 days and 4 nights to celebrate a 90th birthday. The place was perfect. All spaces were way bigger/better in person than in the listing photos. The animals were a big with young and old attendees :) The pool was perfect. Good water temp for all. The added amenities were over the top. We lacked nothing! We would go back in a heart beat or recommend to friends.

Over the top! So many great things to say about this place. Kim has thought of everything, particularly when it comes to kids (of which there were several in our group). There are games and activities galore, from board games to yard games to pool toys to a pool table, to other game equipment in the large game room. The animals on the property were a hit, particularly the bunnies and the egg-laying hens. Who could ask for more? For the adults, most of our time at the house (summer) was spent outdoors in the shade, next to the pool. We enjoyed all of our meals outdoors. The house is well stocked with many kitchen appliances, plenty of dishes and flatware, tons of spices, so many utensils. Nothing is forgotten. Everyone was satisfied with the sleeping arrangements. Most days, people traveled into San Diego for activities (museums, zoo, etc.) and the 30-minute drive was not too burdensome. Finally, Kim is an accommodating and responsive host, and she made all of us feel welcome and comfortable. Rockin' View Ranch rocks.

We stayed at Rockin' View Ranch to celebrate my daughter before she left for the Air Force Academy. Our extended family, ages 7-84, had so much room to enjoy each other! The themed bedrooms were so fun... my daughter had fun assigning everyone a room. Our teens and young adults enjoyed The Farm House and The Bunk House. The pool table and shuffleboard table in the game room were big hits! The pool and hot tub were great with the hot weather. The blackstone was much loved by my husband and brother in law. The massage chair in the master bedroom was awesome. Thoughtful touches like phone chargers in each room were great. I feel like we didn't have enough time to enjoy all the perks on this property. This is one of the very few places that I found that allowed us to have a party for my daughter. We did have to notify them before we booked and there was a small fee involved but it was totally worth it! We would absolutely book this property again! Kim and Chris are great hosts!

Best Vacation Ever! Hosts were generous with all the additional perks! We arrived to homemade banana bread, a tray of fixings for s’mores, pool toys, and games galore, even squish-mallow animals and trucks for the kids. Amazing vacation that felt like a family resort where parents can truly relax! A few hiccups were handled professionally and quickly. This ranch is beyond 5 stars. For a family with 14 grandkids, it’s hard to feel everyone is having fun, but here we definitely did. The green lawns were perfect for outdoor games. The pickleball court was enjoyed by all! Pool billiards kept the adults competing. Even a Scrabble game on the wall was super fun for our nerdy adults. Swimming pool was so refreshing, solar heated! Our kids gathered eggs often from their happy hens. I am so very thankful to have found this Estate. Perfect in so many ways for our large family reunion. Highly recommend!

Compound with 3 houses, everything well laid out. MIni Zoo a real treat for the little kids, pool was a big hit, and covered area at pool was great. Lots of room in the big house for entire family of 18 for meals and gathering.

We had a small family reunion of 17 from ages 2-85 and had plenty of space. Wonderful property. Just fyi the bunk house and the farm house are close togther but both are a walk uphill/downhill from the main property. Also heating the pool was an extra significant cost, seemed high, but it was well worth it! Great stay overall.

We had such a great time at this epic location, with so many activities to do on sight we did not have to leave at all. We loved the pickle ball court, so fun! I suggest this to any group that wants to have fun and able to enjoy both inside and outside. I give it a five super star rating!!!

Everything was easeful, the hosts are very helpful and accommodating. They really did everything they could to set the space for our large group of 17. The one thing I would do differently next time would be to just book the minimum number of people allowed. We anticipated 25, so we booked and paid for that. We only had 17 and I have not received a refund yet for around 1200.00. ~ this is coming from VRBO but the extra fees were fees the hosts charge for their extra costs per person. If I had booked the minimum and just added the fees at the time of check in then I would not need to wait a refund from VRBO. Just for reference it's been over 2 weeks and I haven't heard any updates. All that being said it felt luxe and it it was quiet, we had plenty of space the property is beautiful and the Kim and Chris went out of that way to respond to many questions and requests that we had.

If you’re looking for a place for a family vacation look no further. Our group of 17 were from ages three months to 91 years old. There was something for everyone. The farm animals were the biggest hit with the little kids as well as the pool and the spa. I can’t say enough about the owners their responsiveness and their attention to details. They made you feel instantly welcome with homemade banana bread, little notes and such beautiful touches. The home Is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing is missed here. From a well stocked kitchen to pool toys to activities for everyone you do not even need to leave the property. All one level which is so important for older people and small kidsDon’t miss out. We will definitely be back. So much room there , the attention to detail in the homes was fabulous. Be kind and respectful to the property for it is well worth it.

We had a large group of 25 family members. Had a great time at this property for 5 days. Close to activities, and great activities at the property. Great amenities, and very nice extras from the owners, like fresh baked bread upon arrival, and nice bathroom extras. Plenty of towels for everyone. THX Kim!! ps, so fun to play pickleball!!!

I had a family reunion-style wedding and my vision came alive at this place! There was plenty of space for everyone, we weren't stacked on top of each other and there was plenty to do! We hope to return again and relive the most memorable week of our lives. There's so much to do that our six year old's tablet never got picked up the whole time we were there! Kim was a wonderful host and so friendly to all of us. We just loved her! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Very nice and the hosts were exceptional!

This property is amazing!! I just don't know where to start. I had originally booked it because of the farms animals and the size. We had all 6 of our kids, their significant other and 8 grandkids. There was more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. One of the things that impressed me the most, beside the awesome host's, is how well everything was stocked. They really have thought of everything. They added a new pickleball court, we had a few tournaments. The pool and hot tubs perfect. The game room was a blast for all ages. Some retro machines. It was so many laughs. The farm animals were amazing, they loved their treats and attention. Tito and Lily are my two favs! I could go on and on about them. The fresh eggs, what a bonus. Kim and Chris met us at the house when we got there to walk us through everything, and they also had a book with everything which was very handy. The city/county scheduled a 30 minute power outage in the middle of the night, Kim relayed to as soon as they let her know. The next day the pool lights did not kick on because of this. I Sent a text and within 15 minutes of the first text Chris was there to reboot it. I really could go on and on but seriously the host's are wonderful, the property was beyond what I had expected and the animals topped off the best week ever. You will not be disappointed!!
