Pristine 4th row beach home with gorgeous updates and private pool & spa!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2 Royal Tern was amazing. The outdoor space is the best we have had after several trips. House is large and roomy. The L shape provides two wonderful separate living spaces and great kitchen. Its a short 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen is very well stocked and house was cozy and welcoming. Loved the back covered deck and chairs. The two large masters are amazing and huge. Honestly the pictures do not do it justice. This home was our family's favorite after several trips to Hilton Head.

About a 5 min walk to beach. It even had a separate ice maker and water dispenser to fill bottles. We hope to return!

We had a group of 12, and everyone was happy with their sleeping arrangements.My only complaint is that we called the management company in advance to see if there were specific items available in the kitchen because we were planning Christmas cooking (Cuisinart, griddle, electric frying pan). The management company told us that that the items were not in the house and indeed they were. Therefore, we brought these items from home unnecessarily. I wish the management company would have looked in the home before telling us no or at least told us they did not know.

The house is spacious and the pool is excellent, but should be cleaned more frequently. Pool net has holes in it. Kitchen is great. The house does need updating. Furniture both inside and out showing signs of age. A new fridge was installed on Monday of our stay. The garage fridge was move to kitchen until new one installed and it was not cleaned. The AC had to be fixed in the master suite on the last day of our stay. The management company is excellent and responsive. Home just needs some updating.

The home at 2 Royal Tern was exactly what we hoped for for our weeklong, multi-age family get-together. Plenty of room for our family of 14. The beds were very comfortable, and the family room accommodated all of us for our time together. The well-appointed kitchen was much appreciated. A very short walk to the beach allowed for multiple trips to beach during the day. Our favorite part of the house, for adults as well as children, was the pool area. The Island Time team was responsive to all our questions and requests and did so in a timely manner. We would definitely consider returning to this property.

Bedrooms are big and spacious, with nice size bathrooms attached to each one. Plenty of common spaces for everyone to hang out together without feeling cramped. Location was very close to the beach with a private walkway straight there. The pool was just as amazing. Negatives: the house only has 2 trash cans outside and trash comes by 1x per week which is not enough for that size house in my opinion. While it wasn’t dirty by any means, the house definitely felt lived in and wasn’t as sparkly clean as other homes. All that aside, we would absolutely rent again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was outstanding. It was very spacious and perfect for our 3 families. The home was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The bedding was very comfortable We greatly appreciated access to the 2-car garage which we used to store our bikes and beach gear when not in use. The pool was large with both shallow and deep ends and the area was well suited to outside dining. There was easy off-street access to the beach and the beach was never too crowded. Everything was clean and well maintained with the exception of some of the pool lounge chairs whose fabric had large rips/tears. Our only negatives were regarding some services. The pre-ordered dinner for our arrival on Saturday never showed up. I was able to get a refund without too much difficulty. The outside trash bins were packed full on our arrival and we received no trash service until 2 days before our departure and after multiple complaints. Our trash had to be left in bags on top of the bins and wild animals got into them creating a nasty mess. In addition to pool and beach, we enjoyed the South Beach Marina and Harbor Towne areas, golfing at Sea Pines, and miniature golf with the kids.
