Great property. Well kept. Had everything we needed. Weather was very chilly the week we stayed. However, we made the best of our trip! Would recommend.

What a cute place! My friends and I stayed here for a birthday weekend, and we couldn’t ask for a better spot. Not even a full block off North Beach, and within walking distance to Bunde’s, Captain Lou’s, Admiral Jacks, etc. I’ll be recommending this spot to anyone and everyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house is indeed in a prime location. Kari and Steve made the check in process simple and we were greeted to a spotless home with 4 good sized bedrooms and 2 full baths. All appliances are updated. There was also an assortment of family games and a small selection of reading material. We are looking forward to next year!

This is our second year staying at the Sand Trap. Has everything you need for a great beach vacation. Location is great!

Great place. Amazing location. Owners are really nice and responsive. I would recommend this home. It was really hot and the a/c worked great which is needed after a day on the beach which is literally steps away. They have quality bikes available too. We took 2 of them for a 14 miler on the Kal-Haven trail.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Sand Trap. Location is excellent! Plenty of places to sit and hang out around the house inside & out. We loved the letter in the renters binder. The parking didn’t turn out to be an issue for us. House was equipped with everything needed for our short stay.

We returned for another great stay at the Sandtrap. Clean, great location, and family friendly. We will book again on our next South Haven adventure.

The sand trap was in a wonderful location and we enjoyed the beach often! We had some concerns about parking but it turned out to not be a problem. There is not a beach attendant however and you may not purchase parking stickers from the police station. There are kiosks that you can use along the beach parking area to purchase those for the week. The bathrooms are very small but we made do. Stairs are steep and narrow and all bedrooms are upstairs. The kitchen, dining and living area are great and very spacious and the large porch on front of house is a plus as well as the very nice gas grill which we used several times. All in all a nice place to stay.

This cottage is perfect for a week at the beach.

This was our first year renting a house on North beach and we loved it! The house was a perfect location to go to the beach and also walkable to town. Could see sunsets from the master bedroom balcony and easily walk to the snack stand around the corner for a quick ice cream cone. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our family of 8. Look forward to coming back next year!!

We absolutely loved the location of this property. Makes beach days so much easier! This is an older home with some updates completed. The house is clean, well stocked, we loved having extra fridge for drinks and Weber grill which made cooking easier. .neighbors are friendly,

Cottage was very clean, comfortable beds and updated appliances and gas grill! The two minute walk to the beach was the best part! Second story deck was amazing with views of the lake.

This house was perfect for 2 families with 4 littles. Lots of fun with being right next to the beach!

This is a sweet little cottage to make memories and our group did just that! The house is comfortable and is in great location from North Beach. The neighbors are lovely folks with a beautiful Monarch sanctuary. Our biggest challenge was the parking. What is not clearly stated on the VRBO listing is that there is no free parking onsite. South Haven does not have an attendant to purchase permits onsite at the beach. Rather an electronic kiosk at the beach or you have to use a parking Ap to pay by day or by week on any beach designated area which includes the retaining wall in Kalamazoo St. it is best to read the South Haven City site:southhavenmi.gov checkout parks and recreation/beach parking sticker

We had a fabulous time, great family house and beach is right around the corner!

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very functional. There was some construction nearby but nothing the host could control. We did not know how to use the Apple TV in the living room so our tv situation wasn’t as good as we expected. Thank you for the great stay!

Great location although noisy construction going on all around during days of our stay and house smells strongly of natural gas when you walk in. Seems to get strong after water heater kicks in as we did not use heat while there . We kept windows open day and night gut due to this natural gas smell.
