Stayed Jul 25, 2025This home is just as described in a nice area just a few minutes from town! Tim was a great host who was very responsive! My friends and I had a girls weekend getaway looking to relax and this house was the perfect place for this! Very quiet and relaxing! We will definitely come back to stay next time we're on the area. Stayed Jul 4, 2025Nice home in a great location - close to the river, parks and downtown. It's a perfect size for a couple or a family. Lots of comfy seating upstairs in the living room. We visited over a hot weekend in July and the AC kept us cool and comfy - such a plus. The large windows overlooking a wooded area were lovely - we remarked how pretty it must be in fall or winter too.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025Beautiful and spacious home surrounded by nature located just a few miles from downtown Galena. Far enough away to enjoy the peaceful setting and sounds and sights of nature but close enough to be on Main Street and shopping in as little as 10 minutes. In addition to being beautiful and spacious, the house has everything you will for your stay. Huge TVs upstairs and downstairs, plus TVs in the bedrooms, plenty of towels, all your kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom essentials. And, the biggest selling point for this rental is the host. I have used a lot of BNBs over the years and I have never run across a host like this one. Tim was the most responsive host I have ever encountered. Making sure we had everything we needed. That the rental met our expectations. He even offered suggestions on places to eat and gave us a local contact for Uber services. If I could give this a 10 rating, I would. I highly recommend!
