Prickly Pear, Pool, Golf Course Home, @ Frio River Vacation Rentals

Our favorite place look forward to coming in next year.

Wonderful time spent at this house. Owners are very quick with communication and house was perfect for our groups. If you are here to drive the twisted sisters, this house provides a low car welcoming driveway and a 2 car garage. I’ve done with trip with a large group the last 6 years and this house is the best house I’ve stayed at yet. Not sure it can be topped as the pool was amazing, tons of beds and great overall experience. Stay here and rest assured your in great hands!

We had all of our children and grandchildren with us for a total of 17. Each family had their own room to sleep their families as they wished. We could have had another 15 people with us. It was so roomy! The house was a beautiful hill country ranch design and decorated impeccably. Our grandkids loved the pool and hot tub, quite honestly we spent more time there than at the river. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, as well as the grill, smoker and fire pit for s’mores! Plenty of outdoor games provided as well. I can’t say enough about our wonderful time, other than we have already booked for 2026!

Very roomy lots of space. Couple of minor issues with remotes and smell of water.

For starters, our home was beautiful, every morning we woke up to clean, fresh air, chirping of the birds and wide open hill country. Our beds were cozy and our rooms were tidy. This place is a 10/10 find for a church retreat or family getaway. Will 100% be coming back for another trip here.

That is why we always make sure there is a pool when we vacation. Enough room for everyone to do their own thing like playing different games or going down to the river especially the older grandkids. ❤️❤️❤️
