Pretty house in Tarifa (south of Spain) for up to 6 people just 50 m from the beach

Nice little house, if a bit dated. It was in a good quiet area for us and an easy walk to the beach (important if you are lugging kitesurf gear about). We said there were 4 of us, property said it was for 4, yet only the double and one single bed were made up when we arrived. The trundle bed in the 2nd bedroom meant that it was difficult to move about. I would suggest replacing it with a bunk bed which would leave more room, especially if the surplus odd furniture was removed. The kitchen could do with an update - the oven doesn't work properly as the door doesn't shut and there are no trays for it. All of the numbers have rubbed off the dials and someone has tried to glue some on, but some are missing. We assumed this was because it was thought that visitors would eat out, but with a toddler that wasn't always possible and so a functioning kitchen would have been better. On arrival there was no kettle, we phoned the agent who arranged for the cleaner to come and look for it, it was locked in her cupboard. We did enjoy our stay, and would recommend the property, but it would be much better with a little TLC.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were unlucky with the weather for a lot of our three week stay but the house was comfortable and with the table under the covered porch you could often sit outside even when raining. The house is opposite a tree-lined park with no road to the front of the property so it’s very quiet. The bed is very comfortable as are the many couches! The house is a 5 min walk from the most amazing beach and plenty of bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the old town. We really recommend this property.

The apartment is located in a quiet, nice neighbourhood. It has a spacious rooftop terrace with a stunning view. Beach, oldtown Tarifa an Supermarkets are in walking distance. The apartment has a little front yard with water supply so that you can clean your kitesurfing equipment. Carlos (the owner) and the agency that organizes everything on site are very friendly and supportive. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment, near the beach. Free parking. Citycenter is a 10 min walk. Restaurants round the corner. Breakfast in the bar 100 mtr walk. We liked the place

Very cozy house with enough space for 4-5 people. The photos quite well match how it is. Simple standard but for us it was ok. Well equipped kitchen with everthing you need. The beach is just 3 minutes walking distance away. Great sunsets on the rooftop terrace and a panoramic view of the city. Will definitely stay again! Dennis, Germany
