Home had everything we needed to host a large gathering. It was very spacious and had a large enough kitchen/great room where we could all enjoy each other. Game room and second family room in lower level is a great place for others to hang out.

This property is a bit tucked away and had a private feel in a neighborhood setting. Plenty of room, each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a winner! Older kids hung out downstairs with the pool table and air hockey and had a blast! Great communication, highly recommend.

In the basement on the first night, they ran across the floor as the light was on and I was sitting in bed. I realize that it is the fall and they want into a house. After we mentioned the difficulty the owner came quickly and put down traps. He stated that the previous renter left the door open in the basement. Regardless, it was off putting that mice got into our food and six mice we found dead during our time. I go back and forth to recommend. I liked the place a lot, but at that price point, I think they should have either given a discount or figured out a way to not have the mice. The previous guest shouldn't be my problem.

There was room for everyone to comfortably spread out. We enjoyed the screened porch and lower level patio and hot tub. The home is located on a cul-de-sac which at this time includes only this home, making the privacy extra special. We saw wild turkeys to include babies one morning. The home had just about everything we needed. There are no baby/young child items ie:high chair, playpen or sleeper crib so you will need to bring those. Proximity to the town of Galena is great. The only negative was only two exterior garbage cans which once full the guests are expected to carry the additional garbage out of the property when they leave. I would recommend the home to those looking to stay in the territory with a big group.

Kitchen was a big small, more counter space would have been welcome, as well as a 2nd frig. Overall we would rent this home again. It was very convenient to get to off the main highway. Close to the fantastic little town of Elizabeth, the shoppers didn't even go into Galena!

Quite area with no houses around on a culdesac. Blinds were a little dusty and we had an issue with some spiders but that really probably couldnt be helped much. Overall experience was good to excellent. House is very clean, fully equipped and comfortable. The home is located at the end of the road, offset in the woods for privacy. It is about a ten minute ride to downtown Galena, which is convenient. A couple of minor criticisms: The air hockey table did not work during our stay, which we were looking forward to playing. Also, the table and chairs in the screen room were covered in pollen from the trees. To be fair not really owner’s neglect as we cleaned to use it and by the next morning they were covered again.You do have access to a property manager during your stay. The manager was very accessible and tentative to our needs and addressing our concerns.

This home is a large beautiful spot very near the general golf course. Even though it rained and was windy we enjoyed it a lot and had all the amenities including air hockey pool table and hot tub to enjoy.

This property was wonderful! Very clean, well stocked, and such a comfortable location on the edge of the woods. It is so relaxing, especially the beautiful sunroom overlooking the woods and the hot tub was of course also a highlight. The check in process was seamless and we very much enjoyed our stay. We are looking forward to the next time we can come back to this beautiful house!

Great time loved the house!!!!

We were a group of four couples who rented this beautiful home for the Galena Luminaries weekend. This home was perfect for us. The ensuite bathrooms in the bedrooms were great amenities. We spent most of our time in the kitchen, dining area and great room. We loved the cozy fireplace and the large kitchen. We made homemade pizzas for dinner one night and cooked breakfast for the group the next morning. There was room for everyone to assist in this large space. Because the weather was not good, we were unable to utilize the outdoor spaces (although they look amazing). All-in-all, a perfect place for the eight of us to spend a fun weekend.

Home needs some screens installed on front door patio door and some windows to keep bugs out. Needs better lighting on patio for grilling and grill needs maintenance or to be replaced. Outdoor adirondac chairs and wood fire stove were nice as well. Great stay would rent again here.

The house offers more than enough room for 7 adults and 2 littles. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen, spacious basement and the hot tub was fantastic!

This house was perfect for a get away with our adult children, their spouses and the grandchildren. It was nice to all have our own bathrooms as well as bedrooms. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. The only downsides were that there were no extra towels or blankets anywhere to be found and the internet connection was very slow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.
