hustle and bustle, you will find this secluded gem of a house, the perfect spot for a peaceful and
restful holiday!
Fully renovated in 2020 to very high standards, it is opening onto a large south west facing
terrace with a heated pool.
This very stylish, comfortable and beautifully decorated house is ideally located within easy
walking distance of the busy town centre and its many shops, the daily market and harbourside
restaurants as well as the local beach.
There is space for one car in the gated driveway.
The house (176m2 over 2 floors) can comfortably sleep 8 in 4 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite
bathrooms.
On the ground floor, you will find:
- A bright and spacious living and dining space as well as the kitchen with its floor-to-ceiling
glass sliding doors leading to the terrace.
- A utility room
- A spacious double bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite walk-in shower-room + toilet
- A separate toilet with washbasin
On the first floor:
- A spacious and very bright master bedroom (over 30m2) with a super king-size bed (200x200),
walk-in closet, en-suite walk-in shower room, His and Hers marble sinks and toilet.

The owners reserve the right to call to order any behavior that they deem harmful to the neighborhood and its occupants and if necessary to take sanctions.
Silence is required from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the accommodations.

Pets are not accepted.

POOL :
Any child under 16, unaccompanied by an adult parent, is not allowed to access the pool area. The tenant agrees to leave the curtain closed and secure
Any child under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult who knows how to swim (in order to avoid any risk of accident, we ask that you watch young children in particular).
Under no circumstances should children be left alone at the edge of the pool. If necessary for swimming.

Babies must be equipped with special nappies. They must be under the supervision of a responsible adult who knows
swim.
– Pool users undertake:
- To close the electric shutter and secure it by attaching the 2 clips in order to secure it after each entry and departure from the swimming pool.

DEPARTURE :

• Tables must be cleared
• The island, the tables (low, high) must be cleaned
Laundry :
• The sheets will have to be removed at the end of the stay and deposited with the bath towels, the tea towels in the bags provided for this purpose.

    Lovely spacious house for our family of 3 couples. Very quiet location yet 10 minutes walk from the old town. Perfectly equipped, including a gas BBQ which we used a number of times and ate outside on the deck regularly. Very hard to fault.

    We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful family home this summer. The host’s agent made us feel instantly at home and it took us no time at all to relax and enjoy this wonderful town. The main part of the house is older and built in the traditional local style, but has been very tastefully modernised and extended. The four comfortable and spacious bedrooms could easily accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children. Our daughter (13) loved having her own en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe in the room downstairs. We also enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen (with more cutlery and glassware than we knew what to do with) and there was ample space to eat. We didn’t manage to figure out the main TV, but that didn’t matter at all. The house is ideally located in a quiet residential area on the edge of a large park, but just 10-15 minutes’ walk from all of La Rochelle’s main attractions: the lively old port, the aquarium, the beach, or the fantastic market hall (best on Wednesdays and Saturdays). For your breakfast baguettes and croissants, there are several delicious boulangeries less than 5 minutes away. The garden is modest, but very pretty and very private. We made good use of the Weber gas barbecue and outdoor eating area. The only downside is that the pool is very small: it’s perfect for a quick dip to cool off on a hot day, but it’s not for you if you’re hoping to swim a few lengths. Our kids loved splashing around in it, though. A folder of information on the local area / recommendations of things to do would have been helpful, but we stumbled across most things we needed. Also, we didn’t visit the beach during our stay as there was no available shade, so access to a beach umbrella would’ve been appreciated. Overall, we would be very happy to return to this house on our next visit to La Rochelle.
