Prather Place, Spacious, Deck And View, Entertaining Basement, Minutes to Marina

It was very nice but …. Could have been cleaner! Tons of bath towels and dish towels but no rhyme or reason on dishes, silverware, etc. we loved the game/bar room! We loved all the countertops in the kitchen and we loved the big table. Didn’t like the dirty lights, ceiling fans and windows!

Thanks to Summer, who is the host of this property, for all the swift communication she provided whenever I had any questions. Because of her recommendation, I hired a private chef for our women's retreat. I would highly recommend this property. All the attendees loved it, and some ladies took the business card to book the property.

Excellent stay and perfect property for our family vacation! The location was convenient and the property was a great fit for our trip. Very clean, extra items other hosts typically don’t include and the host was very responsive. A all around and would absolutely stay here again.

The view was amazing and the host responded to all of my questions quickly. Our only issue was the house next door was having construction done and it was so loud, jack hammering and semi trucks coming and going. We know the owners have no control of it, but a heads up would have been nice. We loved the house and the it was perfect for a family vacation.

Excellent place for vacation.

The house was exactly as described. Our family enjoyed the basement game room/ movie room the most. There were a couple things that would have made it better but was definitely out of the owners hands. The bridge was out so if you needed anything from Somerset, it took 30 minutes to get to instead of 5 minutes. The organization of the kitchen utensils (pots, pans, appliances, etc.) could definitely use some work. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone who asked.

I can’t say enough nice things about this house. The home was clean, kitchen huge and made for lots of people, beds were comfortable. Lots of room. The neighbors (especially Danny) were all so nice and friendly. The view is perfect. The house is full of things to do on a rainy day. We will definitely return, hopefully with our adult children as it’s a big place for just two people. We are looking forward to a return visit!

We had a guys trip to Lake Cumberland and this house was awesome! Plenty of rooms, great game and media rooms, an awesome view of the lake, and plenty of beds! I would highly recommend staying here and checking out the local island golf course.

We had a wonderful stay at your well appointed and very clean property rental. The view of the lake and marina was beautiful and it was super to be able to see it from the water too.

Stayed at Prather Place for a long weekend with my family of 8. The house was clean as others stated. You do need to leave air curtain on because of gnats in kitchen like Summer says in her notes. Kitchen was ginormous with 2 islands so multiple people could help prep dinner after day at lake. House was huge except for master bathroom. Only way you can describe it as taking a shower in a ‘phone booth’. Wasted space in walk in closet could go a long way to upgrading that bath, but that million dollar view made you forget pretty fast!!…Summer answered my text immediately when I needed to know about kitchen appliances, and her text right before you arrive giving you info about the neighborhood was very helpful. Another helpful person was Danny the neighbor.. if you are putting in a boat it was faster and less hassle to put in at Pulaski Park than Lee’s Ford Marina

2 K, 1 F, 1 F/T bunk, and 3 full size twins in what we called the Harry Potter room which is off the room with the Bunk. Very large kitchen, we cooked daily. Beautiful view.

We had a wonderful time with family at this VRBO. The view was incredible, just what you're looking for when you're staying at a lake...plenty of deck to enjoy it. Summer was very easy to communicate with. The kitchen was amazing as was the family room. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy meals and activities. The downstairs was out of this world with 2 game rooms and a home theater. A definite hit with the whole family...8 adults and 3 children.
