Pottsboro Home w/ Patio & Grill ~ 1 Mi to Lake!

It’s a very nice place with plenty of room. Only complaint is WiFi was not working and property manager was very slow to respond and never fixed the problem.

This is our third summer staying here for our family retreat and we love it! We call it our home away from home! The beds are comfy and the AC is cold!! It comfortably sleeps 10. My grandma always sleeps on the couch because the stairs are really steep but the couch is super comfy! Only downside this year is the property contact never responded to me when we were trying to check in early. We had the door code and were able to check in early anway and the place was clean so it worked out. 10/10 recommend!

I rented this property as I was attending a reunion in Sherman, TX. The house was exactly as pictured. The interior of the house was spotless with everything you need. The outdoor furniture was pretty dirty but it had been very windy and wasn’t really a problem. Out of the 3 full baths, only one of the showers had good water pressure (the bunk room). I had booked this property because of its proximity to Mill Creek Marina. I have friends who own property in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the lake was too high to access it due to recent storms. I would not have rented for this occasion if I’d known - but that’s just bad luck!! I would recommend this location as long as you have lake access. Overall, a good property

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful and accommodating property! Our group of 7 stayed comfortably, and even had room for 2 visiting family members. There was plenty of seating in both the living and dining areas, and the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom was a huge win—no morning traffic jams!Now, onto the tiny quirks that gave us something to talk about over coffee:One guest, known for their eagle eye for detail, was impressed overall. Their only suggestion? Fans for the back porch. The stairs are a bit steep—great for cardio, not so great for knees that have seen a few decades or anyone with a fear of heights. Bring your sense of adventure!Hot water was almost there. Not cold, but not quite spa-level steamy either.The upstairs never quite hit our preferred sleeping temp. The thermostat had a mind of its own, but thankfully, standing fans were provided—clearly not the property's first rodeo.Morning sunshine lovers will be thrilled. For the rest of us, blackout curtains would’ve been a dream. One downstairs room also had a missing vent cover, which turned their bathroom into a wind tunnel. Creative use of towels to the rescue for both issues.Lastly, the back porch needed a little TLC before we could enjoy it. Nothing major—just a quick tidy-up.All in all, we had a great stay. The house was lovely, the space worked perfectly for our group, and the few hiccups were more amusing than annoying. Would we come back? Absolutely!

1) stairs were brutally steep for 70 year olds with bad knees 2)WiFi functionality was off and on 3) downstairs thermostat set to 84 during day despite evolve rep saying they would fix. 4) downstairs shower barely puts any water out. Overall was a good place to stay for a fishing trip. Older people should wary of stairs.

My sons and I were impressed with the rental. It was very clean with no question. The area is beautiful. The owner was super nice. I HIGHLY recommend it. We will definately return to this perfect spot.

This home was more than I expected it had everything the size of the kitchen,the rooms the beddings were very comfortable all amenities and 3.5 bathrooms a large balcony and front and back large porches both with plenty of seating and even a friendly neighbor Wayne thank you for making this stay memorable.

I will start by saying, I never complete reviews on properties and I typically book mostly on VRBO rather than hotels. I have never been this unsatisfied with a property before. As long as a property is clean and is described accurately I would book again. Upon arrival I noticed lots of live bugs on the floors, which appeared to be ants/termites. The host arrived quickly to spray and clean up, which was nice. If this would have been the only issue, I would not have left a review. There were two major issues besides the bugs, which included the water and cleanliness. The water pressure was very weak in the showers and never warmed up. Small children taking ice cold showers was not great. The lack of cleaning or upkeep of the property was the second issue. We actually didn’t sit outside because the outdoor area was so dirty. We had to clean the outdoor tables and grills before we could use them. The inside appeared clean, but after one night we noticed all of the dirt and cobwebs. We had to wash a blanket because it smelled so bad. Under the furniture was very dirty. I do not think it was cleaned prior to arrival, or the bugs would have also been discovered. Overall, I wouldn’t book again. This property could be a very nice property, but I think these issues outweigh the good.

My family had rented out some of the cabins at Mill Creek Marina & Resort for our weekend at lake Texoma and there were 6 of us who wanted some more room for our stay. That is when I found this property. I was able to message Joe about checking in a couple hours earlier and it wasn't an issue. This house was so spacious and inviting. It was the perfect distance to the marina. The Blackstone on the back patio was super useful when cooking breakfast and burgers. We did have my grandmother staying with us who is 78 and has some issues with her knees, she found the steepness of the stairs going to the second floor difficult but she said the bedroom she slept in was very comfortable and accommodating. Over all this house exceeded all our expectations and we would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Outstanding house, awesome decor, provisions and extremely close to Mill Creek Marina. Will definitely stay there in the future!

The house is well designed and very clean and comfortable. The owner was very very helpful. The kitchen, the outdoor grill , the bathrooms - all well stocked and visitor ready.
