excellent location, great host, loved all of it.

I rented this property for my daughter and her friend to have a weekend getaway, so believe me when I say I did my research on this and all other nearby properties before deciding to go with Ella’s House and am glad I did. The property managers Barbara and Gaetano were very pleasant and answered all of my daughter’s questions prior to her trip as well as made sure she had exact directions and contact information for arrival. My daughter had a great time and had nothing but great things to say about her stay, how comfortable it was, the large windows and gorgeous views, and best of all, the big terrace that she loved spending time in. She loved it! Thanks Ella’s House!

We loved our stay at this villa in Positano. We had lots of room to spread out and enjoyed early morning cups of coffee on the veranda watching the city come alive. The villa is so close to so many great restaurants which we loved. We went up the many stairs to grab groceries for our stay but enjoyed the view from the top. Gaetano was a wonderful host - he helped set up transport from the airport and welcomed us upon arrival. There was even coffee, cornflakes, and milk available so we didn't have to immediately run out to purchase items for breakfast. We always used the stairs but if you wanted you could take the bus back to the property. Our family spent 8-night here and enjoyed every minute of our time away.

Wonderful villa! We stayed for 10 days as we explored the Amalfi coast. The apartment is well located and nicely appointed. The hosts are gracious and very helpful. The views are amazing and the apartment is just a described and pictured!!

Loved the place!!!! Very clean and comfortable 2 BR 2 bathroom villa with EXPANSIVE sea views. Terrace was very big 2/3 sheltered 1/3 uncovered and was a favorite hangout for us for breakfast and evening glass of wine. Communication was excellent with quick replies throughout booking to leaving. We absolutely loved the location perched high up (552 steps) from beach. There is a nearby bus stop for those who are less inclined for exercise but we walked everywhere and closed all of our Apple Watch rings by 9:30am. If you arrive to Positano by ferry believe the owner when he strongly recommends using a porter (baggage service) to haul up your suitcases. Villa was very well equipped with even some international outlet adapters. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Just an awesome week!!!!

Hills and stairs.

First time in Positano. Excellent location away from center but easy walking distance. Gaetano was very helpful. View spectacular natch. Unexpected plus excellent quality sheets and good selection of pillows including soft. Easy walk up to bus. Parking ripped us off be a use we didn't reserve ahead as suggested by gaetano.

We fell in love with Positano. In our 3 night stay, we explored the town top to bottom and side to side, plus a day trip to Path of The Gods and a kayak adventure along the coast. Ella's House was perfect, and if we ever return to Positano, we will stay here again. There was just two of us, but it would be ideal for 2 couples to share with 2 living rooms and 2 full baths. It is well furnished and equipped. The host was always available for our questions and he recommended a chef for a home dinner and it was amazing. The location was excellent right on the upper end of the main street, and we found a favourite restaurant just down the street.

Gaetano, is an amazing host! The apartment was immaculate.The view is amazing. He supplied every amenity. The air conditioning worked very well,. We enjoyed having a washing machine. we traveled to many cities in Italy. He was very gracious host & and helped us with transfers to and from the apartment, including excursions. We could not ask for a better apartment or host. Thank you, Gaetano we hope to return soon.!

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. The location was close to many restaurants and shops, it was very clean, the host was very easy to communicate with, and it had the most beautiful view! We spent a lot of time on the terrace and there was even a small playground next door that my kids loved. We would highly recommend and hope to be back someday!

This is a great place and very convenient to grocery and restaurants. It was our first time in the area, so I was very concerned about functioning AC and number of steps required to get to apartment. This place is convenient to a bus stop almost across the street and the AC units were kicking. There are takeout food places, restaurants, hotels, salon and a few boutiques very near by. It is not very close top the center of the town, but that was actually a good thing because it can get crowded there. The host was wonderful and helped a lot by arranging taxis for us as well as answer questions about the area I had via whats app. He was very prompt. The only thing to keep in mind is that the room with pull-out is by the kitchen, so my teenage son who was sleeping there, would often wake up because someone was making coffee early. Also, the terrace/ balcony is spacious and can be a gem if it was setup more inviting. The views were gorgeous!

I stayed here with my family and it was wonderful. We had a great time the home was great and much better than the pictures. There was a snag with the stove one night but the owners fixed it right away. The views and the terrace are wonderful. Overall really pleased.
