Poppy’s Hampton House | 3BR + Bonus | Near Beaches & LIRR

The house is excellent! I just think the garden could use some work so that the home can really shine at its maximum!

My family spent a week at this property. It was our first time in the area. It ended up being a great house for us. We were easily able to explore. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were within walking distance to restaurants. 3 of the 4 of us had to work during our time there. No one had any internet issues that got in the way of that. There was plenty of room to spread out. It was wonderful to be able to spend time together and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. Any questions we had were answered promptly.

Very clean and spacious. The area is residential and very relaxing. We had to drive to the beach.. Ponguoge beach just south and Meschutt just North, 15 minutes in either direction.

Place was great. Only thing is the backyard isn’t fully fenced in like it states in the listing. Only a small portion of the yard is fenced in. With a toddler and dogs it was kind of hard. But overall a nice place!

Had family in town for a brief visit, the property was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed.

Fit all of us comfortably! 3 full bathrooms!! Perfect location to pretty much everything you can or want to do! Seamless check in and checkout, absolutely perfect! We cooked or ordered in every night, went to the beach, drove to the city, could've caught the LIRR with the Hampton Bays stop in the neighborhood as well, and we got ice cream from the local Carvel! Just a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend!

I planned this trip for my cousins from London, and we had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious, and clean. The location was great - it was less than 10 minutes drive to the beach and other restaurants. The hosts were extremely nice and was easy to communicate. I would recommend to anyone!

My family of 5 stayed here for almost two weeks. I think this house is great for short stays ( a few days) for older people who are using this as a home base to go explore the surrounding areas. - We were unable to use the house until at least 3 hours after check-in because it was being cleaned. We went into the house and surprised the cleaning lady, 2 hours after check-in. We left to give her time to finish. The house was not as clean as I would have expect, or have experienced in other VRBOs. All the floor mats were wet because the didn't have enough time to dry them. All the drawers had dust/dirt in them, which I had to clean myself. When we left and checked under the couches, etc for our stuff there was dust everywhere. The light fixtures have dead bugs in them, etc. We told the property manager and they said they had a lot of houses to clean that day. - The house is well-loved. The bedroom furniture is old. Most of the drawers are missing handles. The drawers came right out of the dressers. The curtain rod in the bedroom fell multiple times. We told the property manager about this. They were going to send a handyman to fix it, but they never came and they never checked in. The washer/dryer are old. You can only wash 2 towels at a time. - Not great for small children. Lots of little pieces lying around (like screws and hooks and shells). Again read above about unsafe furniture. The barn door also came off during our stay.

What a great week we had at the house. It was clean and well kept. We will definitely be coming back
