Would definitely stay again. Easy to get to beach. Tons of space for everyone. My only recommendation would be to have a rug in the foyer to catch some of the sand and at the kitchen sink.

Home has beautiful view of Gulf, easy access to beach, and very comfortable. Ice maker and beverage cooler add to the ease of a great family beach house.

Riding bikes, playing tennis and pickle ball, and enjoying the Blue Angels were all highlights of our trip. The two bunk bed rooms were perfect for us. The big kids had their own place as did the little ones. Thanks for the perfect vacation for us to all get together and enjoy our family.

We had a few minor things not working (dead light bulbs, garbage disposal, outside hose) on the first day and the response time was excellent and all was fixed within 24 hours. Only thing I would suggest and making sure when they make the beds they don't put the sheets on the floor first. All the beds had a little sand that we had to brush off. Minor and easily fixed.

The house appears at a first glance to be exactly how it is listed online but once looking around the rooms there were so many sanitary issues. For starters there was a red stain on the sheets of one of the king beds. In the master bedroom there was hair and sand in the bed. The shower mat was molded, the trashcan was broken and had to reach inside to open it. The back to the remotes were missing, there were very few towels and they were dirty. We contacted the property manager and they simply sent a hostile cleaning crew out the following day after we had spent the entire first day of our trip cleaning and laundering the house. The cleaning crew came to the house the first time looked around and did nothing. They eventually came back after we had to respond again that nothing was handled. They then dropped off sheets and towels. None of the other issues were fixed or addressed the rest of the week. My family and I take one trip a year together, we work really hard and take time out of our lives to get together for this week and it was a shame the condition the house was in and the response received. I have waited to leave this review due to the fact that I know it will affect the bookings but I would hate for another family to arrive to the same issues.

The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed since we cooked several dinners in during the week. Just a few steps away to the walkway that takes you to the beach which was super nice and not overcrowded at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 16 ranging in ages from one to eighty-three just spent a week in Abracadabra and loved it. The house accommodated us well (as advertised), and the location was great -- a short walk to the beach or the swimming pool and a short drive (4 miles) to a Dollar General for those last-minute things you may have forgotten. Big beach houses come with stairs (see photo), so if you are traveling with very small children, you might want to pack a couple of baby gates. For those little ones, there's a large area of clean sand under the house to play in the shade. Kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with plenty of glasses, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and small appliances. The ice machine and the drink fridge were unexpected plusses. Even with as many people as we had, we had no trouble keeping plenty of cold drinks and ice at hand. There are plenty of bath towels (don't forget your own beach towels), plus a laundry room. All the equipment was up-to-date and in good working order. Our family has stayed on the Fort Morgan peninsula many times over the years and love the area, and Abracadabra is a perfect house for our clan. We hope to return one day.

We were close to the beach. The manager was great to work with. Cheri is the best host you could ask for.

Coastal View Vacations charges a steep cleaning fee but doesn't guarantee it will meet your expectations. Sheets were dirty and overall house wasn't clean; dead bugs embedded in couch. No refunds on the cleaning fee but instead will suggest the cleaning crew come out to reclean and/or bring new sheets. With such a high cleaning fee, renters expect the rental to be clean upon arrival. We were disappointed but made the best of it. Would not recommend.
