Pool & Screened Deck! Home 2 Mi to Mashpee Commons

The house wasn't very clean when we got there. Crumbs were in the sink, towels were left in the wash and smelt, the pool was very dirty. And the downstairs windows need to be washed. Neighbor dog barked a lot. Other than that the house was nice and the neighborhood was quiet and the walk to the beach was easy.

Our family enjoyed this home. It was very clean and spacious. The bedrooms were large with great bedding. We enjoyed the pool which was clean with multiple lounge chairs to sit on. Kitchen, dining, living rooms were all one room with a nice open concept. Great location for shopping, restaurants. There is a view of the pond across the street however the access is down the street and is private so not accessible. Sasha the contact person was very professional to work with.

The house is really cute, well equipped and clean. Lots of little issues but probably not more than an average rental house. Things like the clock in the living room was dead, the string lights in the screened porch didn't work, there is no bedside lamp in the main bedroom, etc. The pool however, was gross. It needs a new liner and by the second day we were there the pool was green. The property contact had let me know it was cleaned on Mondays. The pool cleaner showed up on Thursday. Fortunately it did not impact my stay as the weather was such that we were not going to use the pool anyway. None the less, it needs to be fixed. Location was good, easy to get to Sandwich, Falmouth, Woods Hole and Hyannis.

This was a wonderful choice for our family vacation week in Mashpee! The house was nicely arranged, with open concept kitchen, dining, & family rooms as well as a screened porch leading to the back yard and pool. There were 4 bedrooms as depicted in the listing, one on the main floor and 3 upstairs. All of the appliances in the house were in excellent shape, which also made our ability to cook and stay on top of laundry easy - more time to play! Loved the pool - a nice step-in & shallower section before the deep end for the preschoolers. Lots of restaurants and things to do within easy driving range. Overall just what we hoped for on our first vacation on Cape Cod!

The house was amazing! It looked exactly as advertised. The beds were very comfortable. The house was spotless and was decorated beautifully. Anything you could possibly need was available. There was a great selection of books and games. Every bedroom had a smart tv. The walk in closet in the first floor bedroom was stocked with sunblock, aloe, bug spray. They even had an iron and steamer. The house is a pet friendly rental. There was a basket full of dog toys and the yard is fully fenced for your dog! They even provided dog food dishes. The in ground pool was great and provided a lot of fun. We had a couple of questions during our stay and our contact person always responded immediately. We had a great week and highly recommend this rental!!

Nice house, we loved the screened in porch, being dog friendly and the layout. But we had some issues. When we arrived the pool was very murky and unusable. The property manager was responsive and had someone come clean the next day but we couldn't use it until the fourth day. Even then, there was lots of sediment on the bottom. We didn't swim much. The owner was nice and sent us a gift card to a restaurant which was great but for the price we paid for our stay, was a bit disappointing. It seems other reviewers have also had pool issues. Second, the pond the house is adjacent to is for residents with permits/passes only. We were not provided with one so we couldn't use the pond. I think the listing should be clear about not having access, or provide a guest pass. We assumed that by booking a house on a pond, we would have access to it. Thirdly, check out says 11am in the listing, but the cleaning crew arrived at 10:30, stating we were supposed to be out by 10. Luckily we were just loading the last few things into the car. The cleaning lady was very nice about it but it put us both in a uncomfortable position. Additionally, the propane for the fire pit was empty and it was challenging to find a refill on the 4th of July weekend jumping store to store. The dishes when we arrived were still in the dishwasher, thought to be clean, but were in fact dirty. There was also a random beeping noise during our stay from the basement that kept us up.

We love this house, and the view to the pond! We drove about 15 minutes old silver and had a great time and would stay again. Beds were comfy , so appreciated , but big pillows I need a little one lol . A couple things to touch up as always but seemed clean a cared for!

The listing is super cute and the management company makes it seem super easy. However, upon check in, the issues rolled in. The pool was broken and no one came to repair it all weekend. They sent their cleaner (who was very kind!!) to fix it? But she didn’t know anything about pools. There were broken drawers in the kitchen, the fire detectors batteries were low and beeped all weekend, they only provided 2 towels…. Total. There were ants all over the kitchen and the screened in porch had all ripped screens so bugs got in constantly. All of the issues were reported multiple times, with no remedy. An edible arrangement was sent as an apology… but again no action was taken. Disappointing property.
