Pool, Hot tub, Incredible Views, stocked fishing pond, 6 bedrooms, Sleeps 17!

This is an amazing property and the hosts were extremely thoughtful about all aspects of our stay. Beautiful views and quiet. Great place for a quiet getaway or family reunion! We plan to come again.

Had an amazing family reunion. Loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The pool was the highlight. If you need anything from the store there is a Dollar General 5 minutes away, and Bandera is 10 minutes.

This is an incredible find, we couldn’t believe we were still in Texas. Everything from the communication to the amenities exceeded our expectations. There were so many pleasant surprises. The pool was heated, the view was incredible, the hot tub jets were amazing. Plus there was an extra freezer for all the food we brought to feed our large party. My whole group couldn’t stop raving about the place. Matt was very flexible and accommodating, we felt very welcome and we hope to be back.

Great place for our family reunion. Plenty of beds for our big family and big spaces for us to spend quality time.

This property was great. Owner was very responsive and helpful with all my questions. Pool was perfect and there was plenty of room for us to hang out by the barn and even play a game of wiffle ball. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Property manager was extremely helpful and attentive. Had a few hiccups during the stay but he made sure to make it right each time. Will definitely stay here again

We came from all over the country to host a local event, most of our group had never been to the Texas Hill Country. Having a great property and fabulous host/hostess made the entire trip and experience over the top for all of us. We left promising to return again next year! Thank you Matt and Tara!

If you’re looking to get away, this is the place. This house was far enough from town, yet close enough if you don’t mind driving into town. The driveway into the house is amazing to say the least. Going up a winding road leading to a heard of cattle with the pony that you just can’t help to admire. The house had plenty of amenities. All three houses were already cooled, which brings me to the owner. The owner was attentive to make sure we had a good stay. He was available the entire time prior to arrival, he made sure we had everything we needed and once there he was always available for any questions or issues. The pool was great with amazing views of the hill country. You can enjoy walking over to the pasture pond or star gazing during the night. Plenty of room to explore. We hope to be back in the fall or winter time, definitely recommend this house!

We enjoyed our family vacation here at the Ponderosa! The pool was a great way to cool down after spending the day at Six Flags. We had a great time at the local rodeo Friday night. The views were awesome and the pond was a ton of fun! Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the area!
