Pool / Grill, Dale Hollow Lake and nearby Sunset Marina with Mountain view

Very nice place to stay

We enjoyed our friend’s DHL trip, which we’ve been doing for over 40 years, despite the weather! The house was clean, comfortable and inviting. Plenty of room for 3 couples, comfortable beds and ample room to work together in the kitchen. Although we didn’t get to use the pool it would have been nice to have if we had nicer weather. The host was quick to respond when we had questions. Overall a great stay!

Great location. Just a short 5 minute drive to Sunset Marina. Dairy Queen was 2 minutes and other restaurants in town were just a short drive. Yard was large for our dog. We loved the view from the back porch overlooking the cattle pasture. Charles was great with communication.

Fantastic!!! This is our 2nd year our family has stayed at this property and we love it! Close to Sunset Marina and plenty of room and space for all ages.

Very peaceful property, next to a cattle pasture. My wife and I enjoyed coffee together in the mornings on the back deck. Lots of space for our family during our stay. The pool is somewhat small, but we made good use of it and very much enjoyed it. There are lots of towels available, and the washer and dryer came in quote handy throughout the week. There are TV's in the living room, the master bedroom, and the basement. The location is excellent for quick access to Sunset Marina. The area around Dale Hollow is not as commercially developed as I would have expected, which was a nice change of pace, but keep that in mind with your own expectations. Restaurants do not keep late hours, especially during the week (most close at 8PM), and you typically have to drive between 20-60 minutes, depending on what you like to eat. We found several restaurants we enjoyed though. Dale Hollow was beautiful! The weather was fantastic for the day we rented a pontoon boat from Sunset Marina, and we had a wonderful time on the water. Charles reached out and left me a voicemail shortly after our arrival, and even though we ended up not needing him for anything during our stay, I have no doubt he would have taken care of any issues throughout our week.

Great location that is close to Sunset Marina. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Nice gas grill. We enjoyed both the covered front and back porches. The grandkids loved the pool. It was shaded in the morning and late afternoon which was so nice! The home is very clean and comfortable!

Property was perfect for our family weekend at the lake. Just a short drive to Starpoint marina. Plenty of sleeping areas for everyone in our family. Property was very clean.

This property was just the right size for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. We had one good day of weather and spent it on the lake, however, the girls would have loved some pictures by the pool—it looked as if maybe it was in the process of being drained and then just left. It was green and not covered for winter yet. There is a nice fire pit area that we took advantage of several nights. Bring your own chairs! The driveway is a little narrow, but has ample parking. The only other “issue” we had was finding the trash cans outside for pickup. The detached garage has a do not enter sign, but that is where the trash cans were located. Overall, we had an amazing trip with lots of memories made and would absolutely stay here again.

Overall nice place. There was nothing placed on top of trash can to keep animals out as instructed. The only trash can in barn for trash removal was full upon arrival with open trash all over barn floor-looked like it had been there for awhile. Pool could use a good cleaning.

We have loved coming to visit with you guys for several years now. This property has a little bit of something for everyone. The beautiful pool, picturesque atmosphere, and the feeling of being right at home is exactly what you want when you’re spending time with your family. The host is always very friendly and welcoming, very responsive to any and all needs as they may arise. We have always been very pleased with our stay and will continue to visit in the future.

Good location to sunset marina. Dale hollow lake is beautiful! House was good for a group of 8. Pool was nice to have for a day of chilling out.

Once again a Great family vacation. Plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. Close to marinas the pool was a great plus for the grandkids and house was perfect for all of us.

This was a great place for a little getaway. It’s very close to the marina which was nice. The kids loved the pool, too!

The house was perfect for my family of 4 adults, a 2 year old and our dog. The house had plenty of space and we basically lived in the pool. Definitely recommend!

The trash was never picked up.

We had a wonderful time with our son and his family. Especially our granddaughter. She loved the pool and spent every possible minute in it!

House was exactly as described! Lake & Sunset Marina are very close. Rented pontoon boat from marina - staff at marina were awesome! We loved the pool and lucked out on the weather! Would definitely rent the house again!
