Pokerville Retreat in the Heart of Amador Wine Country

So convenient! The house was great! We truly enjoyed a wonderful weekend. We would love to stay again.

We had a great stay at the Pokerville Retreat. Beds were comfy, house was very clean. The welcome wine bottle was a nice touch! The kitchen was large, so a few of us could be cooking and using together no problem. Location was PERFECT. We did a lot of wine tasting north of Plymouth but also traveled to Sutter Creek and other small towns so location was very central for all of that. Highly recommend this spacious home for a stay in Amador Valley.

We found the house to be very comfortable and it felt like home. There was plenty of room for two couples and one dog. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking in the area. We appreciated the bottle of local wine left for us by the hosts! We would stay again.

So close to the wineries in Amador County. House was perfectly set up. The master shower was awesome. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and a grill was also available for us to us. I would stay again.

Overall, we had a pleasant time in the unit. The home was clean and inviting and access was easy to check-in and out. It was a fine size for the 6 of us as a base for the Big Crush event and it was appreciated thst we were greeted with a bottle of wine. I would recommend this place to others while also recommending a few improvements: 1) Making sure those in the bottom unit are quiet for the renters (1st night they were loud very early in the morning for 2+ hours) 2) Having some instructions to operate the tv so renters know the servives they can access 3) Having blackout curtains in the bedrooms, especially the 1st one

This unit is a perfect get-away location. It was quite roomy and comfortable. It was spotless except the bottom drawer of the freezer is in desperate need of a cleaning. We also enjoyed walking distance to town and location of nearby wineries. Thank you for bottle of Amador red wine...it was quite good!

Wonderful property, very comfortable for our family visit, all the amenities including fully stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend for visiting the area, which has 40 local wineries as well as numerous CA gold rush towns in the vicinity. Excelllent communication with the host, easy check-in.

Very clean and adorable house.. very open and spacious. Super easy check in. Easy to communicate with Ashley and very friendly. We stayed her last year as well for my daughters birthday. We loved it so much that we decided to stay again for her birthday this year. Highly recommend this property.

Nice central location for a wine tasting weekend. House is nicer than pictures depict. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but appeared there were plenty of cookware and small appliances around. Lots of books around to read. We couldn’t get the dvd player to work but probably users error. Front door was a little tricky to open but owner responded quickly with the little trick to open and then no problem after that. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice, clean stay for 6 people.
