The house was warm and welcoming and very clean! We had a fantastic weekend enjoying the house amenities and local attractions. Just a short drive to Jim Thorpe and Lehighton. Would recommend and would stay again.
What a comfy charming home to stay for a weekend getaway. We had a fire going from the time we arrived until the morning we left. Rooms and beds were comfy as well. Appreciated the cleanliness of the house. We also really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. We will definitely be back again!
Really enjoyed the property. Very clean and perfectly functional for us. Only a few suggestions to label the lighting for outdoor and increase a few of the bathroom supplies. Also we needed more info on operating the fire pit. The community people were very friendly and helpful with information. We would definitely rent this property again!!
We stayed for a weekend so my father could do the stock car driving at Pocono Raceway, and this house was absolutely perfect for our family, from ages 72 to 4! Spotlessly clean, exactly as the pictures show! Just a beautiful place, thoughtfully decorated, kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals for us, well stocked! We spent a lot of time on the deck around the (gas)firepit, using the fantastic hot tub. I could go on and on , it’s perfect for a large family! (On a side note that kitchen is my dream kitchen!!! Love love those countertops and the whole design). Thankyou for a perfect stay!
Although things didn’t turn out how we exactly wanted, the weekend getaway was wonderful. The home is beautiful & the area is peaceful. Definitely a wonderful retreat!
I stayed here this past weekend with a few of my girlfriends and I can not say enough great things about the cabin. It was super clean, in a great area with a fantastic property manager that was so responsive with any questions I had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Communication with the property manager was prompt and clear. Everything was as described. However for the price point (including a lot of fees) I had expected more. Some of the provided sheets were not entirely clean. There were some dead bugs in the corners. The microwave did not work. There were some key items missing in the kitchen (eg tin foil and the teapot was missing a lid). The sink water turned slightly brown with boiling (was not given information about this prior), but perhaps this is the case with all the properties in the area. One of the upper bunk beds rocked a little too much for our comfort of having a child sleep on the top bunk. The upstairs sliding balcony door lock was broken and could not properly lock. I did let the property manager know about these issues and was given some renumeration for the inconveniences and this was very much appreciated. Overall we ended up enjoying our stay, but I will be unlikely to return.
This little cabin was so cute and quaint. Such a nice, quiet area to stay in. The hot tub was a really nice bonus! I would recommend anyone to stay here!
Perfectly as advertised. Great communication with the host
My wife and I rented this house for a family weekend with our kids and grandson. The house was very clean and accommodating for all us. We had a great time and the owners were very responsive, we actually arrived early and I had reached out to the owner to see if we could get in a little early and Wanda responded within minutes. Would definitely go back!
Has everything you need to enjoy a cold mountains weekend. Fire place coupled with the electric heat made for a cozy atmosphere.
We stayed with 8 women for a very low key bachelorette weekend. The house was very cute, clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely and also very clean. Make sure to bring your own beach towels if you’re using the hot tub, as they only provide bath towels. It’s an easy drive to a lot of activities. The community does have strict quiet hours at 10:30, so keep that in mind if you plan any late night activities. It was not a problem for us at all, but worth noting! We would definitely book again if we visit the area in the future!
The property was everything our small group needed for our annual Friendsgiving celebration. The check-in and our processes were easy. The property manager was very attentive and even provided us with a later check-out. Would def recommend.
Perfect house for a long weekend near Jim Thorpe. Host was very helpful and checking in and out couldn’t be easier. We enjoyed time inside and out by the fire. Very clean and had everything we needed for a great girls weekend.
This place was decorated really cute and had a ton of wildlife in the yard. Hot tub was brand new or taken care of really well. It was very dusty in the bedrooms. We would suggest acquiring more kitchen items so you can easily cook. Great place for a group of friends!
Plenty of space for all. We had 5 women in our group and it was the right size. Owner was very responsive and quick to resolve any questions/issues. We used the hot tub and propane fire pit, both in good condition. Lots of wildlife in the yard (deer, fox and rabbit). We drove into Jim Thorpe for a day and did the short hike to see Hawk Falls. Beautiful area.
Great area and great house. Stayed with young adults and they loved the hot tub, fire pit and 1980s video games. Enough space for all. Deer everywhere.
Our group of 8 had a fabulous weekend here. We made great use of the porch and hot tub. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. House set up perfectly for two couples, four teenagers, and two pups. Very cute decor, just as advertised. We’ll situated with lots to do nearby. Moyas is a must for dinner! Ricardo is a great host :)
