Plovers Nest: Stay in the Heart of Newburyport for Yankee Homecoming!

Location on Plum Island: beautiful sunsets and beaches and walks in nature. Just a few miles from dntn Newburyport. Lots of great restaurants and shopping and culture.

As advertised! Clean, cozy and very comfortable. Easy check-in/check-out. Everything we needed. We loved the proximity to Parker River NWR - a great location for birders.All good!

Great communications and support from iTrip (host) and the place.

Perfect for a two person stay to relax and enjoy the local activities!

Pur stay was perfect! We could not have asked for a better house and a better weekend than we had on Plum Island. We will be returning in the summer!

The location was excellent, nice quiet end of street location. The place was clean and well stocked with items to get the trip started. Throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay on Plum Island.

Great place to stay, though seating was uncomfortable.

house was cute. really like having a second bathroom. frustrating when trying to see if can check in a few hours early (in case the home was ready) but it just seemed like they wanted to get paid for an additional day. didn't end up doing it. school buses all turn around right in front of the property so the back up beeping got annoying

Pros: Adorable, cozy house! Very clean and well set up. While the house was small, the bathroom/shower was nice and large. It was located in a nice quiet area.Cons: Would recommend hanging the upstairs curtains higher to cover the transom window and change them to darker/blackout. The streetlight shining in kept us up and made it hard to sleep.Overall a great place though!

This was our second time here, and we LOVED it. Would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Plovers Nest! Newburyport was so lovely and we loved having the beach so accessible to us. It was the perfect quiet getaway!

This was the third year in a row me and my wife have rented this house and it is perfect! Fully stocked, very clean ,and full of nice surprises. Definitely will be back next year.

Property was well-stocked & labeled and close to much of what you’d like to do on the North Shore - hike, beach, eat, etc.

My husband and I enjoyed our little get away in the Plover's Nest! While we expected a smaller quaint home, we were amazed at the thoughtful storage solutions and the beautiful touches throughout the home. It was very cozy! We would have enjoyed being able to sit outside, but unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy while we were there. We would definitely choose this place again if we ever return to Plum Island!

Great location, very clean, can bike to the beaches, and there are at least two beach restaurants at the end of the street. Close to Newburyport as well. Hope they get those curtains in on the second floor fixed and there is a vent outside the upstairs bathroom (outside) that needs a hood replaced or it makes noise on a windy night. Such small things true my, and it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!!!

The property was true to the write up. It was well located, close to the beaches. Downtown Newburyport was a quick drive. We also drove to Rockport during our trip, about 45 minutes away, passing through Ipswich on the way.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable home. Close to classic New England town of Newburyport and the Parker River Wildlife Refuge. Already booked another stay!

Plovers Nest was a great place to stay. The space is very small, but stocked with the essentials. Comfortable bed- stayed during winter but could imagine that the decks and access to the water in the summer would be idyllic.

Plovers nest is a great little getaway cottage for a couple. The property was very well designed, and makes great use of all the space available. The location is great for anyone interested in exploring the coast, Newburyport, Boston, or any of the numerous surrounding small towns. The hosts are very organized, and provided an extensive welcome message, with tons if info about the property, as well as the surrounding area. The property is beautiful, clean, extremely well maintained. We would love to book again next time we are in the area.

I stayed two nights at Plovers Nest for an end of summer beach getaway. It was the cutest little house, with all the things I could need to make my stay perfect. I really enjoyed the location, the overall setup of the house and how close it was to downtown Newburyport. Overall I had a great stay!
