Overall the property was great but could use more light inside, internet was not working at all even after resetting modem. Our the biggest health concern with this property was that we found mouse dropping on the counter and our food / baby items. Saw a mouse several times during our stay. Did contact management about this and they said they would take care of it.

The Cabin had plenty of room for 3 couples. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen was well equipped with all your basic needs. The trips into town were short, only a 15-20 minute drive to be able to enjoy boating, restaurants, grocery stores, bars and so much more. The views at the cabin are beautiful

This property is just a short 20-minute drive from the Dells, and the scenic route through the winding country roads made the trip even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved the peaceful countryside views along the way.My family of six had a fantastic time here! We spent evenings in the yard making s’mores and stargazing—it was the perfect getaway. The secluded location offers a lot of privacy and space, which made it ideal for our larger family. The home was well-stocked with cooking utensils, kids' games, and books. We even left behind a few DVDs for future guests since the internet service was spotty for about a day (not a big deal for us—it added to the unplugged charm!).Overall, 10/10. We'll definitely be back!

My family and another family stayed for a weekend. The house accommodates a group quite well. The house is comfortably furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of hilly landscapes from living room and dining areas. We expected the musty basement based on previous reviews. The house could greatly benefit from a dehumidifier down there. Otherwise the home was cleaned well for our arrival. As other reviews have mentioned you must pick up your keys from an office just off the highway in the dells. If coming from north/west that would be something to definitely consider. We had to pass right thru the dells anyways so it was just a quick stop off the highway for us.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. Very quiet area, about a 30 minute drive from everything. Plenty of room for the whole family. The only negative is the check in is 30 minutes from the property itself.

When you walk into the property it is a standard log home with a great view of the countryside but it could really use some work. On the way in we headed downstairs to find that the basement is so musty smelling that it was unusable. So we couldn't use the beds and had to put people on the couch instead. There is one charcoal grill on site not others as listed. The best part were the furry friends in the cabin with us. I caught a mouse on the first night and let it go. On the second night we saw another scurry across the floor only to hide under the cabinet. On the last night we found mouse feces in the master bed. If you look in the corners you will see mouse feces and dead bugs. The place needs a professional exterminator and a deep clean before anyone should think of staying there.

So we traveled across several states to get here so it was the evening time before we could check in. Please note that even though you have the address and it is 2022 you have to stop at a sketchy building 30 minutes from the cabin and call a phone number to check in. The guy literally said something like you want the combination? Then let me open the safe with the welcome packet and keys. Didn't even ask for a name. You lose cell service (we've always had Verizon) in places en route to the cabin. You'll see tons of deer. There wasn't an evening where we didn't see several eating grass out the back window. That part was nice. There are bugs in every single room. Mostly dead / dying but it makes you wonder how well it was cleaned between guests. The basement, where the two twin beds are located, smelled musty. The main floor has a television with a Direct TV remote but it literally spent all day trying unsuccessfully to connect and could not. We brought some of our own DVDs or nothing at all. We had two days at the waterpark. Day 1, Tuesday, we returned and everyone bathed and went to bed. Day 2, Thursday, we returned home and bathed the smaller children. When the teenager tried to shower the water was ice cold. Three hours later it was still ice cold. Tried the 24 hour emergency number and no one answered. Tried VRBO because even though this property is managed by Sand County we have your back While we were debating on if we could continue staying there a mouse scampered across the kitchen. At that point it was necessary to leave but I guess Sand County didn't think so because VRBO didn't get back with us but they did. The lady said we must have used too much hot water even though this hadn't happened previously. When we mentioned the mouse she said you'll get those in the country, someone will be by with traps tomorrow It was the least caring response we've ever had to vacation rental issues. Expect bugs and mice and trouble with what looks to be a 40 year old hot water heater. The small kids were oblivious to most of this. They liked the space, they liked the few hours spent there. The management company did set up traps the next day but their customer no service was very poor. You're supposed to recycle but there isn't a clear place for it. Upon checkout all dishes must be washed AND put away (though when we arrived the dishwasher was full of dishes, that's a more normal request to run on your way out of the place)

A few minor items to upate: - better/additional lighting above stove - first floor toilet seat doesn't stay up - WiFi info is incorrect on the check-in papers. We found the correct password on the box: youngvase297 Always so friendly to communicate with and so accommodating to all of my questions.

Looking for an excuse to get there again. I’m not sure who the guy was who talked to me while getting the keys, but he was the best. I could tell that was the start of a perfect weekend, at it was.
