Stayed Oct 11, 2025Great location, tucked away from main streets and right on the water. Easy to spread out with two families. Kids loved the dock, pool, and game room.

Stayed Aug 30, 2025House was advertised having an elevator when in fact it did not. I am disabled and was not able to climb stairs. So I was unable to join the family at the beach or pool, much less join them fishing.

Stayed Dec 28, 2024We had an amazing time in Anna Maria Island. House fit 9 adults very comfortably. Pool and hot tub were fabulous

Stayed Aug 17, 2024We had a great time staying at this property. The house was spacious and allowed us to have our own space. Our favorite part was the pool and the hot tub.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024To start w the positives, great location, nice quiet street, close to everything. When we first arrived we were setting off alarms left and right. Wasn’t told about the alarms. If you leave the door open for more than 10 seconds an alarm goes off. Takes a couple days to figure out. I specifically sent a message prior to stay. I wanted to make sure there was very clean bedding. In my room the bedding was not clean. Stains on the pillowcases. My kids claimed they smelled body scent in their bed. The floors were so dirty my kids feet were black and socks full of dog hair. Forgot to mention the piles of dog waste by the steps where you walk in to house up the stairs. The kitchen appliances had finger marks all over them. I called and they had a cleaning crew come out to take care of. The cleaning crew told me they couldn’t believe how dirty it was. The counters were greasy and shmeary. No swim toys noodles or anything for beach. We had to buy our own. We left them there for next family. Anything we saw was locked up in garage. We had no access. Also the game room on first level has no inside access to house. God forbid if it’s raining. You have to go outside to get back in. For what I paid for this rental, none of this should have happened. Also fyi the deck and area around pool will burn your feet. Wear flip flops.They offered cleaning fee back. They should have offered much more hence the bad (but honest) review. Will never use this co again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful time staying at Playing Hooky - it had plenty of space for our large extended family and everything we needed to get the most out of trip to AMI. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, launching our paddle boards from the canal to the bay, and playing in the game room. We saw dolphin and manatees right from the pool deck!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was amazing, it was clean and well appointed. Guest services was very accommodating and communicative. My only complaint was those darn alarms on the back doors - not all of the bypass buttons on the sliding doors worked when coming IN to the house. Also, the bathroom toiletry sets did not include lotion or liquid body wash when we arrived. I noticed that when we asked for a clean set of sheets to be dropped off, you included a bag with fresh toiletries, which did have the liquid body wash and lotion.

Stayed Apr 13, 2024The location of this space was perfect! As advertised and more it was set up for the entire family no matter what age. We had one minor issues which was addressed right away, even the construction next door couldn’t ruin this trip!

Stayed Mar 23, 2024We had a wonderful time, the house worked beautifully for the 3 generations of our family. We were able to walk almost everywhere except the grocery store. The beach, shopping, and restaurants were very convenient. Our grandkids loved playing in the pool while the adults enjoyed the sunshine.

Stayed Aug 12, 2023We had a great time staying in this beautiful house! The open floor plan for the kitchen and family room was wonderful! We loved relaxing in the pool on the hot days of August. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes and glasses. The outside ice machine for all our drinks and beach toys were great too! Thank you for a wonderful vacation at your beach house!
