Aside from the large wrap around porch, there is a great back yard that includes a fire pit! Perfect for roasting marshmallows.

You are in Harbor Springs for vacation, not to sit in front of a television. However, I have a brand-spanking-new 65 Roku TV. Note that there is not cable TV. I have Netflix and ESPN and the standard faire offered on Roku. I recommend taking a walk instead of watching TV....talking amongst each other is not a bad idea either.

The covered porch was great for hanging out with the family throughout the day including reading, eating and naps. It is just a short walk to town, but tucked away on a quiet street.

June 22-29, 2019. My son and I enjoyed this cottage very much. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable for us. The beautiful outside porch was a plus! There were new appliances-Regrigerator and washer! Everything was in working order. I would highly recommend staying here. Robin was an amazing host. She responded quickly anytime I had a question. She even let us use the cottage the week she was planning to use it! The location was also very good!

Planned our vacation late in the season and was so happy this property was available. Robin was easy to work with and went above and beyond with ideas and suggestions for things to do for my family and I who had never been to the area before. House was comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. Amazing location with a short walk to town but the peace and quiet of being 5 min away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend and return again.

The location was great and I loved the Porch. The rooms were good size for our family. The home, while a little dated, had everything we needed for cooking, towels and toiletries, etc. I appreciated the use of the bikes and the grill, comforts of home. Our family had a very nice stay and will be back.

We have visited this house 5 times now and it really feels like home. This was our first time coming in the winter. Robin always responds quickly and works with us on scheduling - in this case, it was too cold to ski on the weekend we had booked and she let us move our reservations to another weekend. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The house is always neat and clean with the walkways and parking spaces were cleared of snow when we arrived. She treats us like family and that keeps us coming back!

It was a great house. We were in town for a wedding. It was convenient to everything. There were 6 of us staying and it worked really well - my parents stayed in the 1st floor bedroom and the children stayed on the 2nd floor with us. It was close to the church and town. We liked that we could walk into town and did not feel stuck at the house.

My wife and I chose this house based on the suggestion of a friend who had also rented this house in the past. They told us to expect a very accommodating home that was convenient, comfortable and charming. I'm happy to report that all of that was true and more. The more was that we really enjoyed meeting the neighbors and being able to read the paper and drink our morning coffee on the porch. I highly recommend renting this place if you have a trip planned to Harbor Springs. We waited too long and found that she was booked for most of the summer already, You won't be disappointed

The home owner was very helpful as we planned a last minute visit. She gave us good tips on the area and local shops. The house was very clean and laid out well for us and our kids. We really enjoyed sitting on the large porch at night and having a bottle of wine. We would rent this home again.

Our family and in-laws shared this home for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The set up of this home is perfect for a family and delivered on everything promised. The living and dining rooms had enough seating for dinner for everyone. The first floor bedroom is small, but the owner described it as such in the ad. My in-laws used that room and they were fine with it. When we were not indoors we were out on the porch and children were in the yard. It was a very nice home and we would go back again.
