Maid service did not clean the property very well. Trash in various room. Very cute home but the outside needed some TLC

When we arrived the grass was tall and the front flower beds are over grown and poison oak/ivy. All outside trash bins were full and there were ants on the kitchen cabinet around the sink and trash can. Found an old chicken bone behind the trash can. I bought ant spray and treated around everything several times during our stay, and left it under the sink. The lawncare crew came as we were leaving Friday. They left grass clippings all over concrete pads and the pickleball court in the back yard. My daughters swept it off the court so they could play. Also there was a large branch hanging that they pulled down because it was hanging on some vines about to fall.

Four of us stayed here for a work trip and it was just what we needed. Central to everything we needed. Didn't utilize too many of the house amenities.

The accommodations were nice. The bed comfy, and the rooms large. All the things we need to enjoy our days there. Had a towel shortage, and the host had us supplied in just a few hours. Would visit again.

House is located in a perfect location. We were within 15 minutes of almost everything we wanted to do. The 4 bedroom house is spacious and fit our family of 7 adults very nicely. Plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles. The beds were some of the most comfortable ones that we have slept in when we have stayed in VRBO's. The pickelball court was nice and we snuck in a few games between the rain drops. The hot water was amazing. It was the hottest one we have ever encountered. However, one of the reasons I picked this location was for the hot tub. I contacted host/company a few days prior to staying to make sure it was in good working order. I was told it was. When we checkin in the hot tub had a large dirt ring aorund the entire hot tub. I contacted host via text/email (both) and informed of the situation. Sent several pictures of the hot tub. Nobody ever came out to resolve the issue nor did the host follow up to let me know that someone wasn't coming or couldn't come. Dirty caked on vents and baseboards. Pool cues for game board had broken tips. Blood or red wine splatter all over the blinds in the ktichen over the sink. Bathtub stained and looked dirty. We poured bleach on it and it still didn't come cledan (appearance). The bushes are so overgrown can't use sidewalk. Bar on next street stays open until 4am on Friday and Saturday. If light sleeper, this may be a problem. Great location, has potential if the issues get addressed.

We chose this property due to its amenities and convenience to Memphis. The interior was depicted perfectly, however the outdoor pickleball court was filled with leaves and tree branches. Due to the weather conditions, we were unable to use the great assortment of outdoor fun. Played ping pong but were unable to located tbe billiard balls. We discovered there was no hot water and that the hot water heater had a leak. The owner was very responsive to this issue and scheduled a company to install a new hot water heater during our stay. The morning we left we all had a hot shower! This definitely put a damper on our stay, but the owner did decrease our booking fee somewhat as we were considering finding new lodgings. The main issue with the house was the cleanliness. The bath tub was not clean, dirty floor mat, red splatering on kitchen shades, stained front porch cushion, broken soap dispenser in shower stall, crumbs/dirt on kitchen floors all could have been addressed ahead of time....especially with the hefty cleaning fee charged. The home made up for it with the charming character, comfortable beds, and historic neighborhood for us. We appreciate the owners working to fix the untimely water issue. selection of outdoor

Very clean, a/c worked great!

My wife and I were excited to bring our son and two dogs here for our first visit to Memphis, and unfortunately the pictures made it look way nicer than it actually was when we finally arrived. Even though the house has old bones (which isn't a big deal), it had a bunch of issues; doors wouldn't stay closed (you'd turn a doorknob and it would just keep spinning), the backyard grass wasn't cut, and when the lawncare service randomly did show up, we had to contact the host for them to come back because they only cut the front yard. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub because the water smelled really funny, and it said that the filter was 55 days overdue for replacement. The bathrooms had soap dispensers made of glass, but one of the bathrooms dispensers was cracked, and we had to thoroughly search and make sure there was no glass on the floor. That same bathroom also had ants on the floor. And the neighborhood did not feel safe at all; abandoned houses, cars with smashed windows, loud cars/bikes/ATVs riding up and down the street at all hours of the night. This just was not an enjoyable stay at all
