Pet Sand - Gulf Front, Pet Friendly, Beach Service, Private + Community Pool!

Location, check-in/check-out, communication were all great. Views and beach, fantastic. The house itself is a beautiful home but needs some major updates! Definite dampness and pet odors. Kitchen was lacking in even some basics. No pot holders, can opener that didn't work, coffee mugs that were cracked and chipped, to name a few. The biggest issue was anything upholstered. Couch was tired and dirty. The throw pillows and upholstered chairs were old and soiled! We enjoyed the stay regardless but it's sad to see such a beautiful home that way. It could be stunning with a little attention.

In need of deep cleaning, spa does not work, pool is off property and not heated. Beware the master bedroom as well as the second bedroom are on the top floor. Therefore, you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs with your luggage. There is an elevator, but they do not allow tenants to use that elevator. The kitchen is on the second level therefore, you have to carry up your food to the second level.

Home was in a perfect location and walking distance to great food, coffee and smoothies (Badass Coffee & Pascalli Kitchen). We would definitely stay here again. The communication with the management company, Ocean Reef, was top notch. The only negative would be people obviously bring pets not potty trained or do not care where their pet goes to the bathroom which is frustrating for visitors that do care and control their animals, so the carpets do have a smell to them. Otherwise everything was clean.

Check in was simple and we liked that. The garage didn’t work to store our car. That wasn’t a good thing. The back door on the first floor would barely open. That’s the door to get access to the beach and “hot tub” . The hot tub was empty when we got there and we had to request it to be filled. It was not hot at all. It was cold water. The dishes inside the cabinets were dirty and had old crusty food on them. The sheets in the main master had weird stains on them that looked like dried blood. The worst part of all was that my youngest son developed a skin rash from the sheets on the bed he slept on . I’d like the property manager to contact me about a partial refund.

Great floor plan. Pet friendly. Directly overlooks beach. Convenient location for shopping and restaurants . Nice TVs. Large pantry. Now for the downside. Shabby. Not chic. Needs inside painting. Poorly cleaned. Light bulbs out. Furniture in living room and porches needs cleaning or replacing. Not comfortable. Bathrooms need towel hooks ,drain covers, and better cleaning. Kitchen lacks cookware, wine glasses, and sufficient linens. Pool needs new water added daily. Everything shows wear and tear. OK place to stay but expected better for the money. Would be happy to discuss further if requested.

Truly great experience at this lovely and beautiful beachfront home. We will try to return soon.

It was just a perfect getaway. My Fiancé passed away recently and this was the perfect place for me and our dogs to go!! They could just go right out on the beach!

The house was a great home. It had a great location. The pictures represented it well. But we could not sit on the couch cause it smelled so bad like pet pee and the bedroom on the middle level was the same. If it did not have this issue it would have been perfect. So if you go there bring blankets to sit on.. I washed the quilt in the bedroom and that helped. We went and bought sheets and blankets to sit on the couch. The light bulbs where out and the dishwasher was broke. But they quickly sent someone to fix that..
