It was good but heat down stairs not working need updates for furniture but we still liked
Great place to vacation, the house is private and convenient to everything. Got to see dolphins from the living room. Robert is a good host and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Dock was too far away from the inter coastal waterway. We ended up having to launch our boat everyday instead of keeping it docked at the house.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is perfect, close enough to the beach yet far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the city. We really enjoy relaxing on the decks and looking at the East Bay after a long day on the water. Robert is very attentive & accommodating! This was our second stay here & I’m sure we will be back again.
This property has its pros and cons. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. This property has very good air conditioner and stays cold. The property is very outdated and has an old musk smell. If you spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen they could update the kitchen amenities. If you plan on grilling the grill needs replaced. The couch cushions really need updated or you can just place a sheet over them to sit. Overall it was a nice place and we enjoyed our time.
We had a great Fathers Day weekend here.. we fished and enjoyed the lake. The kids had the best time. Robert was great to work with and and we had everythubg we needed.
This house was absolutely beautiful with a breathtaking view of the East Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset, bird watching, and our children swim, play and kayak. The private pier is priceless in addition to close proximity to shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants not to mention the Navarre beach is only 10 minutes away. The home was well stocked and accommodating for our family. We had a great stay and would highly recommend to others. It was a very private and peaceful vacation much better than dealing with the Destin traffic especially since we have family in the area.
Overall the house IS very private. On a quiet street and in a quiet neighborhood. We brought our boat since the ad listed a nearby landing and on-site boat slip; however, the driveway was very overgrown and it was impossible to bring our boat or trailer up into the yard. Branches were low enough to scratch our truck pulling in. House is well equipped but everything needed to be cleaned wiped down, particularly flat surfaces. The only access to the upper floor is a very narrow spiral staircase, unless you go outside and climb the stairs to the upper deck and into a side door off that balcony. Overall I would recommend this house for a younger family but no one who is particular about dust and old gone smell. The property is pet friendly so yay! But there’s no fence, so only bring your pets if you enjoy going on walks with them.
Robert is a wonderful host. Very responsive. House was very clean and all supplies were provided. Had a great time fishing and crabbing from the dock. Furniture could use some updating. Had a great time. Home was in a great location away from the chaos of tourist area but only a few minutes from the beach.
Beautiful view, very nice neighbors and neighborhood. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset from the upper story. The outside decks were well done; it was a great place to sit outside and enjoy the view. Robert was a gracious host and had thoughtfully stocked the home well. The home was a very short drive to the beach and Navarre Fishing Pier.
Property and house as as described. The house is dated so it is not 'modern' so to speak but that was okay with us. it was the location, super convenient to get to Navarre beach, had all the amenities, clean and everything worked. Robert was great in meeting us and doing a quick walk through. Will stay at this location again
Awesome lake house, close to the Navarre beach too!
Beautiful scenery
Very beautiful area! Loved having a dock to view sunrise and to go fishing. Happy to be able to bring our dog. Upstairs view was amazing. Kitchen was fully stocked with supplies for lots of gourmet meals! Very close to the beach too!
Nice roomy house, including 3 bedrooms, 2 spacious bathrooms, nice kitchen, 2 living areas, outdoor decks & balconies, and a great dock with a bench to enjoy fishing & watching the sunset. Robert was an excellent host, very responsive & hospitable.
We stayed at Roberts place for 5 days and we had an amazing time!! The property was perfect for us with all the kids and the view was outstanding! Love the privacy of the home and Robert was very kind and helpful! Mind you it is a little outdated but we didn't mind it a bit! If you plan on cooking a lot, I would recommend bringing your own pans as the ones there are small, other than that everything you need is there! This was our first time to Navarre, fl as well and we will most definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay Robert!
We had a great trip. The house was clean and in a good area. The house was as expected based off of pictures and other reviews.
Me and my family enjoyed our stay here, the location for us was perfect just a short drive to Navarre sound to put our boat in the water. We really enjoyed watching dolphins from the porch while drinking our morning coffee. The host very nice and accommodating. F you are looking for a peaceful getaway close to the beach I highly recommended this place.
Loved the Vintage Charm of the home. The property is Lovely and We had a great time fishing!
This is such a great place to stay, very secluded, very comfortable an such a short drive to everything. The owner (Mr Robert) was very quick to answer any questions an was very willing to accommodate. My family an I will return to this property.
Very cool property on a quiet street. Plenty close to all the attractions, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Dock is on a very pleasant waterway and we hardly saw any bugs. We would definitely stay here again. The owner is great to work with and very responsive.
Property could a some minor updating furniture, ? bathroom
Communicated well. Clean. Secluded house with pier close to good seafood and coffee/breakfast. Took pets for a walk. Safe area. Easy access to gas station and food. Have to be able to use stairs easily if planning to stay on second level. Good price if bringing several guests.
We booked the house for a quick family getaway. The location was great, very close to the boat ramp and lots of outside space to enjoy. The views are beautiful and owner was very easy to communicate with thru the process.
