Pet Friendly! Rustic Ridge Retreat

Host was very welcoming and helpful. The hot tub was a plus and we loved the large porch area. We enjoyed our little weekend getaway here and will book again if we are ever in the area.

Beautiful property nestled in the peace of the mountains and the lake. We enjoyed a relaxing escape and fun times exploring the area during the day. We hiked, shopped quaint shops, and played disc golf at Fire Mountain Disc Golf Sanctuary before our arrival. We recovered from our day relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the early mornings. We cant wait to come back. Beth was very helpful will all her communications.

My Husband and I booked for 4 nights. It was an amazing stay! The cabin was perfect for us and our three Beagles. The little community was quiet and friendly and the location was great! The porch was amazing! Everything was so clean and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our mountain vacation because of this rental.

We had a perfect 2 day get-away to the mountains! We came to get in some hiking to nearby waterfalls and the cabin was just the right place to relax!The hot tub was awesome for soaking our sore legs and the porch was perfect

The cabin is small and quaint with all the basics at your fingertips. Clean and beautiful with a great hot tub on the deck and another deck to sit outside on and enjoy nature. Storms were passing through the area for most of our stay and we loved it all the same. The fireplace was warm and cozy to have a drink and relax. The hot tub hit the spot when the rain let up and the nature around us was lovely. We will definitely be back for another stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin near Bryson City and the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was remote enough for seclusion, but close enough to Bryson City that we could easily pick up groceries or go out to dinner. We just loved the hot tub and covered porch, spending time every morning and evening relaxing. Only issue, as others pointed out, was that the bedframe was really loud and squeaky every time somebody rolled over, so we didn't sleep very well. Our stay would have been perfect if we had slept better, but we'd still stay here again if we were in the area.

What an adorable place, full of amenities and well loved atmosphere. One of the best places I have ever stayed.

My husband, our dogs, and I had a wonderful time at Rustic Ridge. The porch is so peaceful and comfortable. The hot tub was super hot. The house is well stocked and maintained. My only complaint is having to leave.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in the Smokies/Nantahala NF. Interior was somewhat small spacewise, but had what we needed and more (nice appliances, cookware, etc). The porch/deck, grill, hot tub and the scenery were amazing made this stay totally worth it, especially for the price. If you're looking for a lovely stay near the NC side of the Smokies, the Nantahala, and Bryson City, I cannot recommend this place mor

Overall, very pleased with our stay. Cabin very quaint with a nice porch area, and had everything that we needed and we would definitely stay here again as it is convenient to Fontana! Would not recommend for more than two people and a small child or pet as the cabin was small. Hot tub was clean though a bit outdated.

Beautiful property and outdoor area! Close to Bryson City and there was plenty to do (we loved white water rafting the Nantahala river)! The cabin was clean and cozy, it is perfect for two people. Only slight negative was the bed frame (or maybe it was the flooring underneath) was very loud, so anytime my husband or I would shift throughout the night, it would wake us up, so just a heads up if you’re a light sleeper. But overall a great stay!
