The family and I had a quick trip to Chincoteague island and Seaside Serenity was perfect for what we needed. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a little inlet behind the property. Perfect for exploring. Our host, Katherine, was great. Easy to contact and very helpful. Everything was exactly how a vacation should be. Highly recommended!

The house was equipped with anything and everything you would need for a stay at the beach. Bed was comfortable and house was clean. The owner, Katy, was easy to reach and communicate with. It was a wonderful week and I hope to return.

Amazing hostess and stay! The house is adorable, super clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything possible. There are tons of little pet things left around which made our pup so happy! The fishing dock was the highlite of the kids’ stay for sure!

This was a fantastic rental! It was a great place to stay with our dog. Everything was well stocked and well organized. The king size bed was super comfortable. The location is great: an easy walk to the pony pen and downtown. Katy is a friendly and responsive host—we’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this property during our family’s educational trip to explore the Chesapeake Bay area. The ease of access made arrival simple, and the home was spotlessly clean. Our kids absolutely loved the location — quiet, safe, and close to everything we wanted to see.One of the highlights was the kindness and responsiveness of the owner. From the moment we booked, they made everything smooth and welcoming, which really set the tone for the trip.The house itself was incredibly well‑stocked with thoughtful arrangements throughout. You truly feel like you’re in your own home — everything you might need is already there. It made our stay comfortable, stress‑free, and surprisingly cozy.Even though it’s the off‑season and not many restaurants were open, we were still very pleased with the peaceful surroundings and the friendly people around the island. The calm atmosphere added to the charm of the trip.A big plus for us was that the property is pet‑friendly, which made traveling with our dog so much easier.Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and we would happily return.

The house was beautifully decorated and with an extraordinarily well organized kitchen. Katie supplied virtually every cooking utensil you could ask for and most spices/herbs/coffee/teas/oil & vinegar. It is a gourmet cooks dream!Katie was very easy to work with and replied almost immediately to any questions.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Katy, the host was amazing from start to finish. She was excellent at communication. She was quick to answer any questions that we had prior, during, and after our trip. Her home was beautiful and was exactly as described. She goes above and beyond in making the home feel like your home! It had everything and more that you would need! We enjoyed the backyard. Our daughter loved being able to fish off the fishing dock! This property has all the comforts of home & then some. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Relaxing screened porch w/view of canal. Definitely dog friendly with side yard for dog duty. Owner was always available to answer questions. Nice place.

Katy has provided a superb home from home experience. Everything is excellent. The house is extremely comfortable, clean and bright. Well appointed and everything is high end. Katy has even provided so many extras, too numerous to mention, she has thought of everything snd worked hard to make it perfect. There's nothing short or missing, it's all there! It was a delight and peaceful and private to sit in the covered porch overlooking a creak in the mornings and evenings and even a little landing by the water with seating. Katy was easy to contact abd very friendly.I have no hesitation in recommending this exceptional home.

We have stayed here several times. I appreciate the cleanliness of the property, a super stocked home that has just about everything you might need during your stay. It’s lovely to spend time on the quiet and private screened porch overlooking the little canal and be serenaded by birds. This is a a quiet neighborhood and we walked into town daily. We love staying here! Katy is easy to communicate with and we appreciate her so much as well.

Arrival was seamless. Katy was so responsive to questions and requests. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was VERY WELL stocked with everything you would need, including items not normally provided at a VRBO home. And the location was literally right around the corner from the carnival grounds!! We had a wonderful visit.

This home is in the perfect location and has everything you need and then some . Very clean and organized. It’s turn key . We will definitely return .

Haven’t been to Chincoteague in probably 20years, this was a great property to return to the island. The pool was a great perk, especially with the kids. The house was clean and well organized, we would definitely come back.

This home is beautiful and so well stocked, we have been staying here every year for the past 4 years and its awesome!

The property is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped. The bottom floor has a very nice open kitchen and living room area. There are plenty of bathrooms, which makes it very comfortable. Every room has its TV. The house also includes an attached 4-season porch, which is lovely and adds space to the house. We enjoyed cooking and using high-quality equipment. We loved the automatic salt and pepper. One does have to drive to the beach about 5 miles. There is a small community pool. It would be nice if it were bigger, but we enjoyed going. I highly recommend renting the property. The host is very communicative and has written information regarding the internet, trash removal, etc. Everything in the house is labeled and well-kept. There is a 60.00 charge for bathroom towels and linens. So, if you do not want to pay extra, I suggest you bring your own.

This is our second time staying here! We absolutely love it. It’s so clean and the location is great. Everything you need is at this property. We will be staying here again!!

We enjoyed walking the mile to Main Street every morning. We are thankful for Kathy stocking the kitchen well and providing informational brochures.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay! Katy has a beautiful place and has taken the time to to make everyone feel very welcome…from supplying games and toys for all ages to making sure you had anything you needed for a home away from home! We can’t wait to go back!

We loved everything about our stay here. The home was clean, spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. It was so organized and that made everything easy to locate. Instructions were very thorough. We were within a 5-10 minute drive to everything we wanted to do on the island. Our 6 year old granddaughter was in heaven with all the toys, games the house had. I didn’t even unpack the items we brought from home for her. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, the screened porch and dock. Thank you for a fabulous stay! :)

I let my son pick the place for our little spring break trip and he chose very well! This property was very spacious and clean. There were also so many items provided that we could have packed a little lighter. Katy was very easy to communicate with and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back. It was an amazing experience for our little family and two dogs.

Terrific! Property was clean and tidy. Lots of labels in bins, drawers, boxes, closets. These labels made it easy to find anything and everything. Speaking of anything, the kitchen had it all. Microwave, toaster, keurig, DW, washer and dryer. Plenty of TVs, grill on the back porch. I’m getting tired of listing. Easy access to Chincoteague and the beach and wildlife refuge. Highly recommended.

The location of Seaside Serenity was perfect! It was far enough away from the tourist spots to be quiet but close enough for a short drive to local attractions. The house was beautifully appointed and the hostess was so helpful and gracious!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything you could possibly need was there. I was amazed at how clean and organized everything was. My husband was shocked how everything was labeled, I personally loved it. There were even some toys available for our 2 year old which was a nice surprise. It was a bit cold so we didn’t enjoy outside as much but it looked like it would have been really nice and comfortable to sit on the screened porch or in the little backyard by the water. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you!

Katy makes you feel like she doesn’t just allow dogs but actually welcomes them. Everything is clean, organized and she has things available I wouldn’t even think of. Great host and great property.

Clean, comfortable house stocked with everything you could ever want! Kitchen is outfitted for a chef, nice screened in porch,pool supplies, books,games,puzzles, pet needs,etc etc etc. Host was responsive and pleasant. Great house for a getaway!

We enjoy visiting Chincoteague, this trip was to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we felt we picked the ideal spot. This home was in a great location, roomy, well-equipped and very comfortable. Outdoor areas were beautiful, saw ducks in the canal in the backyard every morning. We were able to walk down to Main Street. Our dog loved it also! Thank you!

Had a wonderful time in Chincoteague. This place is right down the road from the pens they were keeping mother / babies from the wild horses so we got to see them up close. Short drive from everything you'd want to visit

2nd time renting this house, we really enjoy it. Katy is a wonderful and responsive owner, very friendly and accommodating. The house is very well organized and has many items to borrow which reduces the need to pack (example - beach towels, beach cart). The house is in a great location - minutes from anything on the island, yet is very secluded. Has a nice peaceful canal off the back which the kids enjoyed fishing in, walking distance to the fair grounds, quiet neighborhood. Thank you again for the great weekend!

Really liked the property!

Spent a lot of time on the screen porch and fishing pier watching birds. Ducks, herons, egrets, and cormorants fishing, and mockingbirds, cardinals, and bluejays eating figs from the tree. We rarely rent a place twice but this was our 3rd stay here. The host really has thought of everything!

We love staying here. The house is clean and well stocked with almost everything humans and pets could need. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We love the screened in porch and enjoyed some figs off the tree when we were lucky enough to beat the birds to them. Looking forward to our next stay!

The house is larger than the pictures show! Katy really thought of everything for her guests. We loved hanging on the screened in patio and enjoying having family over to hang in the living room/kitchen!
