Pet-Friendly Jefferson Home Near Lake O’ the Pines

Inside of the was not to bad, but look like had set for a while and needed a little freshen up.( dust bunnies everywhere.) but the outside was a mess look like someone had been eating on the porch and smoking out there. You couldn’t have played any volleyball or anything that you offer. The grass has grown up in all the flowerbeds you almost hated to walk from the driveway to the front door. I was very disappointed,not the beautiful Cabin I was suppose to be renting

The home is in a beautiful location that is right around the corner from a public beach area for Lake Of The Pines. We had seclusion with quick access to what we needed. The homeowner is very friendly, and the staff of Evolve was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Description online matches the property. Shower in the master bath didnt work but we had other options

First the good: Comfortable beds, beautiful setting and great layout of home plus huge well stocked kitchen and very nice appliances. And the bad: This home says up to 9 people (we had 8, us and our three adult children and their significant others) however the table seats 6 and there were only 6 towels in the entire home and not enough bed linens (we brought a lot of our own so it wasn’t a problem). Plus the bar-b-q valve is leaking, making it unusable. the jacuzzi bathtub was broken and the water in showers never got hot. There needs to be serious maintenance done here because it truly has amazing potential.

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and had plenty of space, and we enjoyed the property out in the woods. We will be back again.

Master bedroom bed so high you need step stool to get in. Finally located one. Advertised as jetted tub but it didn’t work. Master shower would not turn on at all. 2nd downstairs bathroom only had a small water stream. 4 senior citizens with disabilities had to climb stairs to use the only working shower. Not happy with that. We purchased food to cook out only to find out no propane available. Poison ivy all along driveway. 2 of us highly allergic. I think there were more lights burned out than working. We still stayed our 4 days but things were very inconvenient. There was glitter & confetti still on floors from previous guests. The furniture in living room not adequate nor comfortable. The couch had a broken board & we had to be careful sitting on one section. I tried calling host first morning & never received a call back. It wasn’t until I filed complaint that he even responded next day. Also you need to take your own hairdryer as none provided.

What a great place with A LOT OF SPACE inside AND out! There were only 2 of us staying here (the other 2 in our party had to cancel due to a Covid scare on their end), but it would be a GREAT spot for families. Open living room next to the dining area, nice-sized kitchen with all the basics and nice appliances. Washer and dryer if needed (we didn't). GREAT wrap-around deck. The SUPER COMFORTABLE bed in the main bedroom is a little high, but there's a stepstool you can use to help climb up onto it, if you need. Everything was SUPER CLEAN, and we would definitely stay here again. Close to a few hole in the wall diner spots. Quick drive to the lake and to a recreational area. The drives down the winding country roads were GORGEOUS, especially with all the wildflowers blooming! THIS HOUSE IS OUT IN THE COUNTRY! It was also a nice and easy to drive into Jefferson to check out the town. My only feedback would be that it might be good to put little reflectors by the driveway so it's a little easier to find at night?

Management was top notch. Extremely easy to deal with.

It’s such a beautiful property. Spacious inside and out. I wish we could have stayed longer. It’s so peaceful.
