You will want to spend your time outdoors on the large wrap-around deck. Relax on the deck chairs or soak in the hot tub; then follow the path to the fire-pit. In the family room, you can cozy up to the large wood-burning fireplace and appreciate the new hickory cabinets, knotty pine doors, and log railing that exude the mountain cabin feel. The huge master bedroom is spacious with a sitting area, a king-sized bed, and access to the deck. Next door is the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Enjoy the updated full bathroom equipped with a soaking tub. The kitchen has granite countertops and a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer. The dining table Upstairs is a loft and third bedroom (one queen and four twins). The furniture on the first level is top-of-the-line with beautiful cabin decor. Awesome location just a few minutes from skiing. House was clean and perfect for our family of 6. Hot tub was a hit.
Everything was great except the fireplace didnt draw very well and smoke came inside the cabin. Maybe just a flu cleaning?
Quick Fall getaway, the colors were beautiful, the village was quiet, the wildlife around this house was off the charts! I have never seen so many deer in my life. The out door space here is beautiful, we ate outside each day, it’s close to trails and the lake, it’s just a perfect setting
The cabin was clean, warm, lots of fresh towels and linens. The dog pen in the backyard was a HUGE bonus so we could have our pets along for the wedding weekend. And can’t forget how amazing it was to have a clean hot tub. THANK YOU for allowing us to have the perfect home experience away from home!
This was the perfect house for us to enjoy a break from the demands of life and the blistering Texas heat!!!
Was a nice cabin and pretty clean. They need to leave a key for the outdoor deck door from the main bedroom. This time of year with the record heat it was pretty warm so some AC units would make it a perfect place to stay. Close to town and Eagle Nest lake.
The Location was so beautiful, including the deer. The cabin was clean and well supplied with towels, a washer and dryer, 3 TVs and a variety of herbs and spices for cooking. The fire pit was perfect for smores and the sunsets and night skies were spectacular! The cabin was close to Monte Verde Lake which kept the kids busy for most of the day. All in all, a great place to get out of the heat and relax.
Property was exactly as advertised Love the Living Room and the beds were great with a large Master We had deer every evening in the back yard. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi and Fire Pit every night Very close to the lake
Great property. Perfect location. All the amenities that you would want.
Great set up for dogs. It is right off of main road. Close to lake and hiking trails.
The cabin's toilets are VERY low to the floor. Lots of beautiful deer, raccoons, wild turkey and so much more just out your window.
Was well equipped, comfortable and the beds were great, very comfy!
Everything was wonderful!
Pros: the location! There were several deer that gathered around the cabin, morning and evening! Absolutely amazing! The small lake is close by, excellent for taking walks and nature views. The amenities at the lake are closed though including fishing. The cabin itself was clean and beautiful. (Only thing not clean was the external windows, which was unfortunate because it made it difficult to see the beauty outside through them) The beds were very comfortable. The house is cozy. Cons: the cabin wasn't as big as the pictures made it look. The kitchen area is a bit narrow, so cooking as a team wasn't very easy. It's an extra $150+tax charge for the hot tub. With the amount you pay each night and the extra fees, it should be included (my opinion based off the several cabins I have stayed in). We were also only supplied 3 rolls of toilet paper for a 3 night 4 day stay and 6 adults and 2 children... that didn't last. So we ended up running out of toilet paper and paper towels. We did end up purchasing some to cover us for the morning... but the property managers did bring more after reaching out to them. Overall, the stay was pleasant! We are praying for the community and surrounding areas that are on fire or in the fire danger zone.
