Pet-Friendly Home w/ Resort-Style Amenities!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. I especially loved waking up early and grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the back deck watching all the animals. I thought it was special that the owners left a note and bottle of wine. Everything was great but we were charged a pet fee and we and members of our party did not have a pet with us. I asked to have the fee removed and got no response so my husband and I ate the charge. Also, there was a pee stain on the master bedroom floor. I found cleaner in the closet and cleaned it up. Funny because we didn’t have a pet but I was cleaning up pet urine. We liked the home and loved that we all got our own bathrooms. Very nice place.

The house was nice but could use a little more attention to detail. Empty soap bottle in bathroom, 3 tanks of propane were all empty for grill and outdoor heater . Property manager was willing to bring a full one over, but we purchased one ourselves at general store as we were getting ready to grill ( awaiting refund for that from owner ) deck needs a little TLC . The location is great with good views and lots of acreage . Was nice accommodations for bringing a dog .

Very clean well stocked house. Very quiet area with no visible neighbors. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back porch. We would definately stay again.

We had a great stay this weekend! There were lots of great wildlife moments (turkey, gopher, and deer), beautiful scenery and the hosts left popcorn and wine to enjoy by the fire. We had a great stay.

The home is beautiful and the bonus was the 4 bedrooms with each one having their own bathroom. We very much enjoyed the fire pit outside and the view to the backyard was exactly what we needed to decompress and detox from technology. The drive into town was not far away and we purchased groceries for our stay. The host had plenty of recommendations. We did bring our 2 pups with us and they knew we were on vacation! The host was very thoughtful and caring and met all our needs. We would love to come back and stay here. We celebrated my mom’s 81st birthday and went antique shopping in near by Elizabeth plus Main Street in Galena. Our favorite spot was Thunder Bay Falls. Our family with grandkids enjoyed very much. House is very clean and the deck was spacious with a wonderful view of peaceful big yard.

This home has all the comforts you could ask for and is one of the best stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the kitchen had everything that you needed. There was even a comfy bed for our dog and plenty of things for our two year-old grandchild. The property is beautiful and it’s close to the owners club and a short drive to downtown Galena. This will be our “go to” property when we stay in Galena . Any questions we had were responded to promptly and they were very accommodating.

This property was cute, clean and comfortable. Our group ended up being smaller than originally expected so we each had our own room and full bath which was very nice. The scenery was beautiful and proximity to downtown was convenient. The weather was a little rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck or fire pit but the inside was perfect for hanging out and playing games. Would definitely stay again.

The house was great. It had everything we needed for our entire family and the dog. The host was wonderful and in contact with us in case we needed anything. Would stay here again!

My friends and I held a volunteer sewing weekend. The property was absolutely perfect for us. We appreciated all the bedrooms and bathrooms, the well-equipped kitchen and the beautiful location. The property manager responded very quickly when I had a question. We will certainly be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! House is spacious and has all of the modern conveniences you may be looking for. My kids enjoyed the whole lower level including the selection of board games, going to the pool and arcade in the owners club. I enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys running around the property, as well as the warm cozy fires. Great place for memories with family!

Place is nice and roomy. Fireplace is a nice touch. Owners are very responsive.
