Pet-friendly home w/ pool & dock with gulf access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at this quiet house with our dog while working from home. The house was very clean and we liked the garage that allowed us to park our bikes and car in it. The heated pool was nice and warm even the cool days that we had in January (especially in the afternoon). We found it very convenient to launch our kayaks directly from the dock. The kitchen was well-equipped but there is no garbage disposal and there was very little storage for food in the cabinets. The beds were comfortable and the house was nicely decorated.There is a small fenced side yard that we utilized for our dog.The rental company was very responsive to some problems we had with the house and they were remedied within hours.

Was not consistent throughout the house.Guest bathroom shower was comfortably hot majority of the time, but master bathroom shower and all sinks just lukewarm to warm most times.Hopefully the owner has/will solve this issue.Enjoyed our stay !I

Pool lounge chairs were extremely uncomfortable and there were no pool supplies as advertised. Security cameras were a surprise! We covered them. We would stay again but bring pool stuff, cushions and better pool towels.

The pictures of the owners and their family did not bother us at all. We actually felt like we were staying with family because of that. We also did not mind that they had their personal belongings in two closets. We just didn't open those closets during our stay. Not an issue at all. We loved the location as well because we weren't off the path of local shops and stores if we needed to get anything. We would definitely look into staying here again for our next visit.

We absolutely loved this property. The family photos around the home did not bother us at all, nor did the closets with their belongings. We have family that live on Marco and Naples and were able to have them visit for a day a few times to spend time together. We would absolutely stay here again and are hoping to next year. Thank you to the homeowners for making their home so comfortable and easy. Also, it was located near the main strip of Marco and easy to access stores and to get off the island.

The home was very clean and well supplied with basics which we appreciated very much. The neighborhood is nice and very quiet. We stayed for 3 weeks and used the pool and dock daily. All of the staff at Marco Island Vacations were exceptional and attentive to any issue we had, we were even reimbursed for propane and a wine opener without asking! The reasons this house is not rated higher are that many items(towels, linens, cookware, grill) are old and need replacing. Most importantly there are security cameras in the lanai/pool area that are not disclosed in the listing and it felt quite creepy. The outdoor furniture is hard plastic with no cushions. We did buy inflatable rafts for the 2 lounge chairs and that helped. A small suggestion for the owner would be to declutter the kitchen cabinets and bedroom closets. The home would feel more welcoming if these details were attended to. At this location you will need to drive to area beaches and pay for parking.

Wonderful little house, well appointed and adorably decorated. Fantastic floors, perfect floor plan and a great pool. A few minor things kept our rating a 4.5 instead of 5: Owner's photos displayed throughout; three unlocked closets stuffed full of owner's belongings; a few cabinets not super clean. Overall, a really great value and a really nice home.

We really enjoyed the house. We had some issues with the hot water water and faucet in the master bath and the property manager was on it immediately. The house was well stocked. It would be nice if the blinds and certain furniture were more updated - but it wasn’t terrible. I would have liked a sleep timer for the master bedroom tv, but again, not a deal breaker. There is construction flint on next door and waking up to hammering and nail guns was not fun. Had we known, we would have chosen another location. They were also working on the prep for the pool next door so we had workers out while we tried to enjoy the pool at our location and that was odd and they had their music going. That aside, the neighborhood was great, safe and centrally located. It was nice to have a garage as well.
