Pet Friendly ~ Golf Cart ~ Porch ~ Community Pool

My sister and I took our teens to the beach and truly enjoyed ourselves. Even though I prefer to stay on the beach side, the property amenities and the gulf cart made it easy to deal with.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Golf cart broke down multiple times with no help from the rental company (My VacationHaven). They would pretend they were making an effort to connect and help but did not. One hour into our vacation was our first break down at the beach. We waited 3 hours for them to come service the cart with broken promises, every time I called they would give me a 5-17 minute wait time for repairman to arrive. Finally my husband just decided to work on it himself with no tools. Discovered it was a short in the system that would only allow it to go forward if you wiggled the key and the forward button just right after going in reverse. We just made lemonade out of a lemon. Second the beds were horrible! Two of us left the trip with terrible back problems starting the second night into our vacation. These were both in two separate beds. All the mattress were **** with cotton type toppers. The topper felt good for about 10 minutes until it sank and left a hole and mound of fluff on the sides, not allowing to reposition without resetting the entire bed all night long which we couldn’t do while try to sleep. They really should invest in new mattresses or foam toppers at the very least. The house is a great size and very cute. The neighborhood is a far drive to the beach. I would rate this place as a 3 because of the quality of the home, but location, Matress and golf cart issues really make it a ZERO.

The house was so clean and beautiful. It was also comfortable . We all enjoyed the screened in front porch. My husband and I enjoyed the pool. I walk with a walker and could go anytime with no help. It was easy to get to town and to the beach on the golf cart. We may come back and stay one day. Sheri, Larry and Layla

My family stayed here o er Labor Day weekend and it was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with nice equip and all of it was in great condition, not old and over-used like others rentals. There was ample towels and wash clothes, and the rental management group left sweet travel items on the counters. The rooms were nice and the beds were way comfy!! We loved the decor and vibe of the home. The house offers nice beach chairs and umbrellas, along with coolers for you to get drinks to the beach. The pool is very close so our kids could swim. The golf cart was very convenient and our kids enjoyed the rides around the resort. I would recommend this home and we come to Sandestin yearly, so this might be our new favorite place.

The pool was very close, and the pet friendly home was a plus. The beds were very comfortable, the living room furniture is starting to show some wear, but it's to be expected with a vacation home. We had a few minor issues that were resolved quickly by My Vacation Haven. Unfortunately, did not have use of the golf cart during the entire week, which was the low-light of our trip, but the rental company did work with us on an acceptable resolution.

Reviewer Comments: family of 13, two houses, next door to each other. perfect ... except the DAY before we arrive we are informed the golf cart would not be available, but would have a loner. loner was a piece of ****! when i book, i book by golf cart - it is a GOLF CART community. should not be listed as a AMEMITY! the house was good, one of the beds in a guest room is broken, didn't know until late in the week, room used late in week. we made the best of the week.

The vacation rental was amazing. Pool only a couple houses away and very clean. Can use the golf cart to explore the community. Everything you need within minutes beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery store. The rental was equipped with everything needed and very clean. Enough room for everyone to sit and watch tv and plenty of room for eating as well. Definitely would stay again.

My family and I travel to the area at least once a year, and this is by far our favorite of all the places we’ve rented. The home is exactly as described and was very clean—love the front porch! Plenty of seating in the living room, the beds were extremely comfy with soft linens, and there were ample towels and wash cloths. The toiletry and kitchen essentials boxes are a great touch and helpful if you forget anything. The people in the area are super friendly. Perfect location for our dog as we were able to easily take him out for his walks with zero concerns about safety. It was convenient having the golf cart available to head to Baytowne or the beach. Very close to several off-resort shopping areas, restaurants, and other beaches. Communication from property management was timely and helpful. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and expectations for check out were clear. We will definitely book this property again. Highly recommend.
