Pet-friendly, fully-fenced yard, minutes to beach

Glen and Min are great hosts. Was able to teach them anytime I had questions or needed them. The property is quiet and everything was within a 5 minute drive. For next year this will be my go to destination

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed home. The fenced back yard was a must because we traveled with our 2 small dogs. We found everything we needed for our stay, including the screened back porch, all the appliances and cookware for cooking meals there, and all the amenities we could have wanted. We would heartily recommend this property! Five stars!

Pros: pet friendly, close to the beach, access to tv subscriptions, bathrooms were very cleanCons: dishes weren’t very clean - moldy spatula in drawer, felt as if we needed to wash everything before using it. Used the bath tub for baby and the water had a green hue once it started filling the tub. Insulation coming out of the door frame on the inside of the front door. Poison oak/ivy in back yard. Back patio/screened in porch was pretty dirty feeling. We didn’t use it for this reason. Overall, I wouldn’t say this place was the best for small children. However, the dog friendliness was our big draw and a necessity for us. The host was very friendly and responsive when we had questions. I appreciated their communication greatly! Our Easter weekend getaway started with great communication with the owners, who allowed us to check in a little earlier than noted. The house was charming and well taken care of. Our dogs loved the yard and the new smells. We definitely will not hesitate to book again!M and L

Nice well equipped home

The property was great. Location near everything with easy access to everything Oak Island has to offer. We contacted the owners about a problem and they sent someone to fix it rifht away. This was a very enjoyable vacation. I would definitely recommend this property.

We had a great time on our visit. Everything was great no complaints at all. The place was just as advertised clean and fully stocked with essentials need for week away. I would highly recommend staying here and we'll be back soon. Thank you Barry

House was cozy and had everything we needed!

I brought my 80+ year old mom and my dog for a week’s vacation. This was perfect for us. It’s not right on the beach, but the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Our hosts were very responsive. We had a fantastic week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at City woes to Sandy toes! Kitchen and grill were more than adequate and very welcomed. Plenty of room for our family and dog! Right off of main thoroughfare with ease to the town’s shops and grocery stores. OKI is one of our favorite family destinations… thank you for making it home this past week!
