Overton Park, where you will find the Brooks Museum of Art, the Memphis Zoo, The Levitt Shell (famous outdoor music venue), a dog park, a golf course, a patch of woods with walking trails, as well as paved roads, and more.

Getting Around:
Driveway parking endless street parking available!
Unless walking in the neighborhood, then driving and Uber/Lyft are the only option. Public bus system is very poor in Memphis, unfortunately.

Other Things to Note:
This home is a half a block from a train track. This is extremely common in Memphis as we have multiple industrial railroads that run right through town. Luckily, this particular spot is right before an unloading point for the trains so they are always going quite slow. You may hear the horn, but that is literally everywhere in the city limits.
Also, Fedex is headquartered just 5 miles down the road and planes can be heard going over head every few minutes at specific 20-30 minute periods at specific times during the day or night. It is common almost anywhere in Memphis to hear and see the parade of planes coming through. Please try to enjoy the Memphis Charm :)

The property was welcoming to dogs with tile floors & a backyard. The hostess very responsive to questions. The property was centrally located, making easy to get to grocery stores, restaurants, & entertainment and in a quiet neighborhood. Off-street parking was a plus.

Home was adorable and the perfect home away from home for a few days in Memphis. Great location; walking distance to eateries and bars and a short drive to the sights in downtown Memphis. Corey was a fantastic host and I would definitely stay here again!

The house is just as advertised , neighborhood is ok, didn't feel to comfortable after the neighbor told me when I walked my dog to be carful because there was an armed robbery a few nights before a couple houses up. It is very noisy with the Fedex planes flying over the house at night and the train being so close ,should have brought some earbuds. It did say it in the advertisement but didn't think it would be that bad, but also I am a very light sleeper. The dryer did not work so I called the owner and he was super nice and told me he would send someone out, well after a few tries it did work but that's about it, tried it after it was done again but nothing. The owner said he would send someone after we left. Overall its a very cute and clean house, would I stay again , no, but the only reason is because it is to loud for me, other than that I would give it five stars.

Our visit was planned as an anniversary celebration but turned into a funeral visit. Only very minor issues that were overshadowed by the attentiveness and professionalism of the property owner. Loved the location. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished. Quiet neighborhood. Close to retail to get there quickly. Far enough away to not have all the traffic. Our original property had issues but the property owner came up with an excellent solution. He was also accommodating, quick to respond and showed a good amount of human compassion for our circumstances. I plan to use this property again amd would recommend it to anyone going to the Memphis area.
