Come to “Reel Relaxing” for a pet friendly beach cottage that sits on a canal front lot in Old Seagrove - just 3 blocks from the beach.

Kayak, paddleboard or fish on the canal. This body of water eventually reaches Western Lake in WaterColor and the Grayton Beach State Park.

With everything on one level and a screened-in porch overlooking the canal, this home is a great choice for your 30A vacation. The convenient location just 3 blocks from the beach and right nextdoor to Seaside.

The screened-in porch at the rear of the house has an assortment of chairs, loungers and rockers for your relaxation. Take some time to grill up a feast on the charcoal grill while you enjoy the sites and sounds of being right on the canal.

Living room has plenty of seating surrounding the fireplace and TV with DVD player. Kitchen has a pass-through window to the living area with breakfast bar outfitted with 3 bar stools and the separate dining area has seating for 4. For your convenience and easy packing, there is a washer and dryer in the garage.

    So this property is not fancy like most, its not updated at all but what I will say is it was very clean, beds were comfy and plenty of room. I will definitely be back.

    This place needs MAJOR updates and is in bad shape. Even as simple as some fresh paint would make a world of difference. The bathrooms are awful. It did not feel clean. Mold in the sinks and showers. Even the shower curtain rod was disgusting. Again, something so simple as changing out a toilet seat and shower curtain rod. Had holes in the walls and broken tiles. Also had to kill multiple bugs.

    This house is OK, in a good location for the beach, food and shops. The house is older and needs some attention to the details of maintenance and repair or replacement of older fixtures. I provided a list of specifics to the Property Management.

    My family and I (husband, mom, brothers) came and stayed Memorial Day weekend at this property. The location is great! Walking distance to the beach, as well as Seaside, 30A, Publix, and plenty of restaurants. My husband and I biked to Seaside several times during our stay for coffee and shopping. The streets around the house are quiet and perfect for walks. The house is even fenced in if you plan to bring a pet (since it’s also pet friendly!) The house is a little on the older side, but was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for six adults. Kitchen was just fine for cooking and we had several meals at the house. Plan to bring extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and bedding if you will have a larger group or staying for an extended period. Overall, we loved our stay here and will definitely be back again.

    This property has a lot of potential but updates are definitely needed. There was no Wi Fi the entire time. TVs are pointless. I’m glad I brought a book! The whole place needs an update. The dining area needs work, the outside porch is dirty, and the fireplace is just odd. It felt like a mountain cabin instead of a beach house. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Management was very nice and check in/ check out process was easy. Overall the property will do in a pinch but it needs some serious TLC.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect location for our quick trip to the beach! The home is just as it appears in the photos. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 plus 2 dogs. This home is a little older than other in this neighborhood, with a little wear, but nothing severe or off-putting. It was just what we needed for our stay. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the square with all the beachside restaurants and shops, and 5 minute drive to the Publix and the Perfect Pig restaurant. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for morning walks in the shade under the beautiful trees. Benchmark Management was easy to work with and quick to respond when we needed to ask questions. The kitchen was stock with all the necessities. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. There was a fenced in area for our pets to enjoy as well and a small creek in the back yard that was very peaceful in the morning during coffee. Overall, this was a nice stay and I would recommend it to others.
