Pet Friendly ~ 2 Golf Carts ~ Gated Resort

My vacation haven was excellent with getting us in and checking on us . Property was great ! Location, golf carts and close to everything .

Our party of eight (2 adults 6 teenagers 15-19) enjoyed everything Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort had to offer. Augusta 527 was a great location for us. Having two golf carts made it as close to perfect as possible. Close to the main North gate. A short golf card ride the pool & The Links Golf course. My guys were able to play a couple of rounds of golf, putt putt golf, shoot basketball and fish while on this trip. For the rest of us not so active the beach was also a short golf cart ride away. There is plenty of great restaurant options without leaving the property as well. The general store at Baytown wharf had all of the last minute needs. The house itself was cozy, clean and had comfortable beds. We will be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved that we could bring our pet! The golf cart was nice to use around Sandestin. The only problem is the rental is damp and has a musty smell. Our clothing was actually damp when we got dressed in the mornings. The flooring in the kitchen was really bad and needs replaced.

It was good , didnt have 2nd golf cart but got money back for it

Main reason we rented this unit was for 2 golf carts. Had 4 elderly people with me and the golf carts were a necessity not just a luxury. Asked about a credit and was told NO:golf carts are an amenity. We were to spread my brother-in-law's ashes and this issue did not ease this difficult time for my elderly in-laws. Truly disappointed with the lack of service.

Reviewer Comments: Pros - Great location, golf carts were a nice addition, house was clean.Cons - unable to check in a minute early, sample size soap, shampoo, etc. Other homes we’ve rented outside of Vacation Haven was stocked with laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, etc. we had to purchase all of this ourselves. Master bed was hard as a rock - very uncomfortable.

Great location. It can be a great home, needs TLC. Broken lawn chairs (safety issue ), hinges on primary bedroom door loose, door drags, sofa pillows had rips and holes. Cabinets and walls pealing. A lot of little things need to be fix before it becomes major problems.

We stayed here for a family vacation and we all had a great time! The location is great and everyone enjoyed being able to use the golf carts to get around the resort. We would definitely stay there again, the only thing I would suggest is to clean the bathrooms and floors better.

In the past while vacationing at the beach I've never stayed at a property that wasn't beachfront so i was worried about how convenient this would be. But with the golf carts it wasn't a problem. Eveything including a grocery store was just a golf cart ride away. That being said i would not stay at the property without a golf cart. The unit was clean and pretty much as described. Some things in the unit were worn and well loved but nothing bad. The owners thought of everything as they even had a pedestal and box fan provided which i love because i cant sleep without one. We had an issue with the golf cart but My Vacation Haven had it resolved promptly and they were very helpful with any questions or concerns. The resort property was beautiful and very safe i didn't worry about my teens at all when they ventured out on their own. Our only issue was the rain. I would definitely stay here again.
