    We were so pleasantly surprised and the lovely home we stayed in. Iy was clean spacious and It had everything we needed in the beautiful well stocked kitchen for all our culinary needs. This was our first visit to this beautiful area and we will be sure to come back again.

    We enjoyed our stay at Independence Day. One big thing that would improve the stay would be to update the bathrooms. They were extremely underwhelming. How about updating to this century? What master bath has a huge tube with a shower curtain around it? We missed it on the pictures. Then the other bathroom must have had the smallest bathtub ever. We were perplexed with the bathrooms. I will say everything else was perfect. I liked how it was quiet. Even though in the back of the neighborhood, we enjoyed the short walk into town.

    We enjoyed the house. We didn’t realize until we got there that we had stayed there about 20 years ago. The house is in good shape, especially inside. The furnishings are above average, and everything worked as expected. That isn’t always the case. The location is great and a 3-minute walk gets you to Modica Market and a few steps further to the beach walk-outs. One thing to mention, though. The master bathroom is a real disappointment. It is comically small with two mini-sized pedestal sinks and a very small tub/shower with a wrap-around shower curtain. After the first night we used the guest room bath down the hall. An update to the master bath would put Independence Day in the ‘special’ category.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great and vacation was fun! Rental could have had a few extra touches to make it better compared to our Seaside stay in the past. Rental manager was great and easy to work with.

    The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed. We loved having bikes available. The property manager was super responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
