Powell, Wyoming
Tatum's Haven is just that, a haven. This charming cabin is settled between two creeks with gorgeous mountain views all around. If you rent this cabin, you can sip your morning coffee and watch the deer, antelope, and wild turkey that frequent the property.
Just down the road from the cabin is an access to the Yellowstone River for fishing, rafting, and walking. There are two convenient entrances into Yellowstone from the cabin: the East Entrance through the historic town of Cody or the Northeast Entrance through the quaint towns of Red Lodge and Cooke City via the infamous Beartooth Byway or through Chief Joseph Scenic Byway.
The cabin itself is decorated with western flair and love of nature. The bedroom offers a queen bed and in the living room there is a upgraded leather furniture featuring a full-size futon for additional guests. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. The home also has an attached one car garage and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The full-size kitchen is perfect to cook up breakfast and prep your picnic meal for the park. Other amenities include a Smart television, telephone for local calls (or calling card), and wireless internet. There are two decks, one in front and one in back with a charcoal grill.
Whether you are looking to explore Yellowstone and other local treasures or looking to enjoy nature and spectacular views, Tatum's Haven is the perfect place for your next getaway.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. It fits our needs well- it’s pet friendly ( they even had a blanket labeled dog blanket). There is a covered back porch which looks out to a gorgeous Mountain View which is the highlight for me. It’s very quiet- I don’t know how many acres but you don’t “feel” any neighbors. There are tv options (we did watch Thursday night football with the Chiefs) but other than that the tv remained off for us. There’s a very nice book selection including travel guides and novels as well as games. There is a garage but we did not use it but there are 3 grills in the garage from which to choose. The bed is a Queen and very comfortable. There is no closet in the bedroom but there is a dresser and a large closet off the living room to store your clothes and gear. It’s fairly close yo Cody and therefore Yellowstone. You cannot beat the scenery.
Cabin was immaculately clean. We enjoyed the full kitchen and guest laundry. Area was quiet. Mule deer visit early in the morning. Only improvements/ suggestions would be to get the driveway paved or gravel put in. After it rained it was nearly impossible in a non 4WD vehicle. Also getting a smart tv or satellite. DVDs were a nice option as they had plenty of selection. Overall great stay.
Beautiful country side very private. Cabin clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. Was a little further than we thought to Yellowstone but the drive on 296 was well worth it, plus we weren't in a big hurry lol.
We absolutely loved this property ❤️ it was the best way to spend out last 2 nights out west! The views are just amazing and the house is so cute and cozy. We just stayed there the ehole time, spent a lot of time on the porch. Definitely will be back! Thank you!!
Perfect house and location. Could not have asked for a better location.
We stayed 8 nights at the cabin. It had everything we need and we liked how quaint and off the road it was. We saw a variety of animals everyday and I loved sitting by the creek in the mornings with my coffee. Only downside that we can see is the AC is an indoor unit in the living room. The house warms up pretty good in the summer months but beyond that it is a perfect stay. It’s nicer than what’s shown in the photos as well which was a pleasant surprise . Perfect Location for us as well since we traveled to Cody and Yellowstone and up into the Beartooth area.
It was a perfect western cabin! We brought our blind dog and he enjoyed it too. We would love to go back someday.
Great
The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The only bed was too small for 2 adults. The driveway was a path from the road to the cabin, rough and rutted. I personally am glad I had a truck.
Great stay when we visited yellowstone.
