Pensacola Home w/ Covered Patio: 1 Mi to Downtown!

Great place to stay! Everything was as expected. It was easy to communicate with hosts, the place was clean and it's a perfect location for beach trip.

Our stay started out great, the owner allowed us to check in early and was very communicative. As I opened the door, we noticed a strange smell and just dismissed it as possibly being from the cleaning products. That night my son got up for water and noticed that there was a huge roach on one of our bags that we had set on the kitchen counter. I contacted the owner and he said that he would contact Terminex to have them come out and spray. He was unsure as to when they would be able to come, so my husband and I went to Home Depot to get some bug spray for the meantime. Before spraying we went to make breakfast and noticed that there were two holes in both of our bread bags that were on the counter. I wiped the counter and saw that were mouse droppings. As I was looking for cleaning products under the counter, I saw that not only were there mouse droppings under there, but the horrible smell was coming from black mold that was on the back of the wall where the water heater was. I immediately contacted the homeowner of our new findings and he said he would have the cleaning lady and maintenence come out to fix the problems. We left for the day and came back to see that she cleaned the mouse droppings and only patched over the area of the black mold. Our stay was ruined. We had to deal with roaches every night and our clothing smelled horrible even after we got home from vacation. We did get a discount for our troubles but are very disappointed with our overall experience.

It was a great experience! The hosts really thought of what folks would need to have a great stay-cation! We would love to do it again for longer!

Clean, all the essentials, quiet neighborhood

While the house met our requirements it was not as advertised! Fire the cleaning company because they have failed! Interior windows had lawn clippings all over sill due to window frames not seated properly, a pair of female underwear and pants located thrown under the sink and everything needs to be dusted, starting with the exhaust fans in the bathroom! For 20 the shower heads could be replaced with ones that’d offer some pressure. With minimal effort this could be a good place. Until the corrections are made…steer clear.

The house was just perfect! It slept 9 people comfortably and was so beautiful! The area was nice and I spoke to the neighbors just to let them know if we get to loud just to let us know. The lady said don’t worry about a thing! You all enjoy yourselves! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a very nice place to stay! Thanks again!
