Pennwood Guesthouse Private Basement Suite

This was our first time choosing a VRBO vs a hotel and we are happy with our decision. This Suite is very spacious and the kids loved playing ping-pong and foosball! This is a great place to stay.

Very clean and cozy home!

We enjoyed out stay. I was a little surprised it was a basement unit but it wasn't an issue. You could hear the footsteps of those above us but it wasn't awful. One of the toilets pump (I'm guessing) was shockingly loud the first time. Then it was just fun when each person went in for the first time. Area was clean and well taken care of. Fully stocked kitchen was nice.

Awesome place, lots for kids to do, close to the waterpark, fully stocked, great AC and a washer & dryer. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a basement suite with the homeowners living in the upper suite. I did not realize this when I booked it. Parking is in the street. Unit remains cold. We had to use the electric heaters in July to stay warm. I would guess that is because of the basement location. No bathroom counter space is a downfall. We used the top of a laundry hamper that was located in the bathroom to get ready each morning. Unit could use a queen bed in place of one of the double beds as two adults cannot sleep in a double bed. My husband is 6' and had to sleep diagonally in the double bed. Unit could use a really good dusting.

The whole experience was great. I love the decor and how spacious the rental is. The place has all the amenities that make you feel at home. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Her response to questions was very timely I would gladly rent this property again.

It was 109 degrees when we arrived. The property was cool, clean and comfortable. Location was easy to get in and out of. Close to the activities we attended. Would definitely recommend.

This property was conveniently located for the activities we had planned during our stay. Was a nice place to come back to after a long day of activities, where we could just relax, play games, enjoy a movie, etc. Full kitchen was nice for preparing meals and helped save on costs of eating out. This is a basement unit, so you do have to be aware of noise levels so as not to unduly disturb the family upstairs, but with the exception of a few random thumps and bumps, not much noise travelled from above. Would recommend.

This property was very centrally located and fit our needs very well. The host was very responsive and helpful. It was nice having a smart tv in every bedroom.
