Pennsylvania Avenue Place - Large cottage close to town! A/C + WIFI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house suited our needs perfectly. The location is amazing, perfect for beautiful walks along the beach into town. Lots of space in the house for large groups. We had a nice crossection of people, including babies, and everyon found a good spot with very little noise transfer. Would definitely rent this house again.

Although we reported it right away it was not fixed nor did management respond. The owner has put a great deal of thought into making this a wonderful getaway. Generally we find kitchens are not fully equipped but this one was very complete with everything you might want. My only thought is a family with small children might find it difficult to keep little fingers off of all the beautiful and interesting accessories. Would definitely stay again

House has 2 kitchens, both well equipped but constantly shuttling plates etc from front to back eating area. Second floor bedroom would benefit from black out curtains for visitors during high summer months.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the experience was ok. We requested to know a few items the house had prior to arrival and we were either told the wrong information or they had no idea. Upon arrival, the house was filled with huge horse flies. We requested the management company to come twice as the first time nothing was done. The house was lovely, but it really dampened our stay as we had small children there and there were dead flies all over the place. A door slide was not working. An AC unit did not work. There was no guard railing on the front porch and a child sat in the chair and it fell backwards. For the extremely large size of the home, there was only one single garbage bin so garbage bags sat outside for several days. The house also upon arrival was not extremely clean, especially the floors. Just several issues that one would not expect for the price we paid. On the upside the home was very large and we appreciated how we could close doors if young children wanted to sleep in the other area of the home and it was quiet. The location was perfect, very close to the water and downtown Harbor Springs.
