PELICAN WATCH AT ROGUE SHORES ON THE SOUTHERN OREGON COAST

What a cute beach house this place is! We spent a week at the property at the end of March and had a great, relaxing time. The master bedroom upstairs was the reason I picked this place and it did not disappoint. The views are stunning!! Overall, the house has everything that is needed. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked, all appliances worked and nice to have a washer and dryer too. The hot tub was a bonus as well. If I had one recommendation... it would be to add a few sharp knifes in the kitchen. Beach access is just around the corner and great for walking undisturbed for miles. The town of Gold Beach is a couple of minutes away by car for groceries, restaurants and gift shops. We had a great stay, and I would book this house again.

Very clean & awesome view & location

This is a wonderful place to stay in Gold Beach. The home is right on the ocean with cool dunes in front of it. The master bedroom is awesome for the views and sounds of the ocean. Access to the beach is less than a 5-minute walk. There is a walk in shower off the master bedroom with two different shower heads. The deck is expansive with a good hot tub. We will stay there again even though it is expensive for one couple. We have two suggestions for the owner. It would be nice to have privacy when using the hot tub. Also, the sofa in the living room could be replaced with something wider and higher so the ocean views from it could be better.

Rental as advertised. Good supply of kitchen spices for our needs. Plenty of dishware and utensils. House has 3 levels with garage and a ping pong table at bottom level and master bedroom/bath and the top level. Very convienent location for our salmon fishing on the Rogue River.

This is at least our third stay at this property. The view and location are second to none! Walks on the beach are peaceful, quiet and I seldom see more than one person. The sea stars have returned too!

The house's location and layout were ideal, and it was well-equipped with kitchen supplies and extras like paper towels, soap, and toilet paper. some. While some TLC is needed, particularly regarding missing or broken deck railing and a deeper clean, it served well for our weekend getaway.

Great location very well stocked. For cooking. Only one dishwasher pod and no extra garbage bags house. Could of used some detail cleaning, but over all was clean. Nothing that stopped us from having a wonderful time and we definitely would go back .this house has plenty of room amazing view. Lots of stairs great for your daily work-out. We will be back did not want to leave.

This was such a relaxing stay with a beautiful view. The house had everything we needed for our family. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach every day and the neighborhood was quiet and quaint.

Everything was great; spectacular views, hot tube worked, BBQ grill worked, puzzles/games/books, etc. for the family, house was exceptionally stocked with essentials, the public beach access is just two houses down so very little walk. Had to call owner a couple times, but he was prompt and fixed our issues. Would love to stay here again.

The house was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs for each level … there are three stories. We enjoyed the ocean view and having directions to get to the beach which was just two driveways down and over a dune. I had not received any check in information and spent some time calling and leaving messages. In the end it all worked out. I

Great view of the ocean from hot tub, living, dining room and master bedroom. Master bedroom is kind of tuck away on its own up the windy stairs. House is warm and relaxing. We had a great stay.

This was our second time renting this home which was perfect for our family. We love the views, the privacy, the hot tub, and more.

Great stay. Right on the beach. We thought there would be a pathway from the house to the beach, but it's not allowed. We had to walk down the road a ways and take another trail. One of our party members was unable to go, as they have trouble walking. Also, I don't know if I didn't read it in the description, but there are stairs between each level. One set of stairs is not carpeted and does not have grip tape on the painted surface. The one member in our party, who has trouble walking, did not feel comfortable going up and down so they were pretty much confined to the living area. The living area was smaller than I had imagined, same with kitchen. There isn’t much counter space for preparing large meals and cooking. The house was clean and very well stocked. We forgot a few things, and were pleasantly surprised to find it in the cupboards! The hot tub is not in a covered area and is exposed to the elements. It was extremely rainy and windy for most of our stay, so we were limited to the times we could use the tub, which is one of the reasons we rented this particular house. The wood stove was only able to be lit on the day that had nice weather, as there are specific notes saying not to light the fire during any windy weather. Overall, we enjoyed our time spent with each other and the views of the sea.

Great stay

right on the beach but berm in front of house prevents view of beach. Beach access close and mostly good, one twenty foot climb that was a challenge but not impossible for older folks in group. House a little dated but had everything we needed. Shared shower had fixed shower height that was very short so uncomfortable for hair washing. Nice hot tub and deck.. Inability to load TV apps of ours was annoying.Owner quick to reply and solution was also quick.

What a beautiful beach and a comfortable home! We had a spectacular visit to Gold Beach and this rental was perfectly perfect.
