Favorite beach getaway. Third time to stay at Pelican Point. The beach is clean, the house comfy. Kitchen well stocked. The bbq grill caused a fire and my husband lost two Orvis fly rods abd a spinning rod. Also burned the picnic table. . We were thankful the fire was contained on the slab under the house! Good fishing

We loved our stay here! It was super cozy, very close to the beach and great for our dogs with the fenced yard (minus the sticker burs) We will definitely be back!

This is our go-to house in Matagorda when it is available. Truly 100% unobstructed views of the beach and bay! Wrap around balcony to sit back and watch all the beach goers. House is always fully stocked with pretty much anything you can need. And the kids love the crows nest! If you have dogs they have a fenced in area just below the balcony in front of house. Owners are very responsive if you ever need anything!

If you are looking for privacy, beaches that aren’t super crazy and a relaxing time this is the place to go!! You can walk to the beach (mosquitos will try to eat you) the drive is like 5 minutes and super easy. We had so much fun playing on the beach and the older kids fished at the beach and in the bay. This is not a place to go if you want to shop and eat out a lot but it is a place to go if you want a relaxing slow it down vacation to the beach!!

The property was perfect for a lazy weekend getaway at the beach. Great views and accommodations. Enjoyed sunset walks on the beach and morning coffee with the sunshine. Local town and restaurants were friendly and yummy. The only downside was the mosquitos.

Nice property steps away from the beach. Property as described and well stocked! We go to this beach several times a year and will definitely consider this place next time. Porch is great and the charcoal grill downstairs was perfect for grilling!

Great little beach weekend getaway. Quiet away from the crowds of Galveston and Corpus. Walk to the beach. House has a great deck to watch the sunrise from.

Great house and location for a really relaxing vacation.

The house is perfect. The panoramic view of the beach is the best! Can’t decide if I enjoyed the sun reflecting on the beach at sunrise or the moon! Both amazing!

This property is great for beach people. The view and proximity to the beach is perfect. We will be back for sure.

The inside is cute, clean and beachy... beds were all Comfortable and cozy. The view was excellent from the back deck. And the proximity to the beach was great. We had two issues about this rental, first and foremost, the mosquitos were out of control. If you go, be prepared to cover yourself all day with mosquito spray. We have stayed in Matagorda for years and have not felt them like this, but we also hadn't stayed this close to the beach either, usually renting on the river or at the condos. We know mosquitos can be hard to remedy. Another small issue that actually could have been remedied was the front and back yard was overgrown, while every property around us was mowed very low and clean. It took away from the experience of bringing our dogs as we wouldn't let them go in the fenced in backyard for fear of rattlesnakes in the tall grass. While we didn't get to enjoy very much outdoor time at the property, as a family, we enjoyed our time at the beach so overall still worth the trip!

Great location and layout for family beach time. Large wrap around deck with views galore. House was very clean and we had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation.

This beach house was ocean front and had everything needed. The whole family loved the house and spent more time inside than intended due to rain. House was tastefully decorated with great furnishings. Well stocked with everything from paper towels to light bulbs. It was great to have the washer/dryer in house. The kitchen had EVERYTHING I needed and then some. We loved it and will stay again.
