Really a great place to stay, all the way around. No issues whatsoever. We felt right at home. Thanks again!
The house was great; all as listed and reviewed. The trail up the mountain was a treat especially the little stream and ponds.
The house was comfortable. We were just there to sleep. The outside light was out and no icemaker, but other than that we were good.
My wife and I, along with our 2 retrievers, stayed for several nights. The sunrises, sunsets, and night skies were spectacular. There were lots of deer in the area and some nice trail for hiking.
We love to come to Alpine in October for the M2M race. This house was perfect for our stay!
The space was absolutely perfect. Considering west Texas is known for their spiders and scorpions I can confidently say this space was spotless and bug free! We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains and seeing the family of deer eat dogs from the nature fig tree right outside the dining room window. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot tub was perfect for a nice relax after hiking at Big Bend. Covered parking which was a plus and a very quiet area. Would definitely stay again!
Excellent
Lovely home. Beautiful setting. Would stay there again if in the area.
My Husband and I had some business we needed to attend too in Fort Davis and this property made us feel right at home. Check-in/out was seamless, and the home was very comfortable. When you have other things to manage, it's nice not to have to worry about your accommodations.
We reserved this property thinking we would be bringing our dogs with us, but we left them at home. The house is located on a hill and the host’s directions make it easy to find. The house is very nicely appointed and has everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. The shower was kind of touchy trying to get a constant temperature. My granddaughter got scorched a bit since she was unfamiliar with the controls. The property is quiet and we would certainly like to stay there again the next time we are in the area.
Clean and comfortable house! We enjoyed the walking trail behind the house. The beds were comfy and property management was good. It’s close to town too!
Good in all respects.
Everything as described. Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!
The beds were terrible. One was rock hard, and the other was softer but was short and narrow. There were wasps in each bedroom window, and a scorpion on the closet wall. There was a horrible septic smell from the shower drain, and the plumbing was noisy in the walls. A dog barked incessantly all night outside the bedroom window. There were cheap paper blinds in the bedroom windows that had no operating way to raise and lower.
This house was just what we hoped it would be. The location was quite near town -- to shop and walk the dogs, and central to nearby towns and attractions we came to see. It was quiet, felt very private, and the main view was across the plains and felt as if we were in the country.
Great communication, nice place, just what we needed for a quick 1 night stay. Great floor plan for 2 couples
Gorgeous view!!!! Loved The atmosphere.
Very comfortable with lots of space. Including a fenced area for our dog. Great parking area. Tremendous views from the kitchen table! Great view of the Milky Way!
Wonderful home away from home! Accommodations were perfect. Lovely views and neat hiking trail. We didn't want to leave.
We enjoyed our stay at Peggy's View. The view was spectacular! It was very comfortable. It felt like home on our vacation. Enjoyed walking on the trails outside the house. There are so many places to see and things to do in and around Alpine. Very friendly staff. Loved Blue Water Natural Foods next door.
Peggy's view was very clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone wishing to visit Alpine and the surrounding area.
Comfortable!! Beds were excellent. Super views. Quiet. Very nice accommodations. Would definitely stay again.
This rental was delightful. We loved the house and the way it was set up. It has a very open space with beautiful views. Very quiet area. We highly recommend this sweet place! The yard for our dogs was perfect!!
