Host send out a wonderful email full of information all about the area after booking. The house was very clean. Furniture was comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Absolutely beautiful location and view! If we ever come here again would definitely book this house!

My son and I had a wonderful vacation in Ellsworth and Acadia. This house is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The location is perfect and so beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped to cook some meals during the week we were there. Daria and Scott were wonderful to rent from. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The property was AMAZING!! The sunsets were incredible every night. We enjoyed sitting in the yard overlooking the water and the wildlife. The house was spacious, comfortable and well-stocked. Our hosts left wonderful recommendations and detailed info about the property. We hope to visit the area again and will definitely stay here.

This house is as advertised and we loved it. Retired couple plus pet, who loved the fenced yard and bird watching. We did not use 3 of the bedrooms, but you can easily accommodate kids or grandkids. Great views from the yard, deck, and family rooms and several bedrooms. House was clean, with a well-appointed kitchen. Only used the master bedroom, which was large with a comfortable bed. House was in the woods, but allowed us to walk the dog, and the area was quiet. We picked this house because it is on the water, near Acadia and Bar Harbor, and drivable to other sites and small towns. We will be back to enjoy Maine, and this house will be at the top of our list to rent.

Absolutely beautiful location! This was our second stay here in Ellsworth with our family. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, exploring the coast at low tide for treasures, and of course hiking in Acadia. So many cute towns to explore in and around the area too. We had the chef from Provender in town come and cook a meal for us! I highly recommend visiting the restaurant while you’re here. Daria is an excellent host. The house accommodated our party of 9 (7 adults 2 children) perfectly. All beds are comfy and warm, and the kitchen is stocked with all the supplies you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Awesome property. Sept 6 - 13 lots of room for seven adults. Views were great lots of wildlife especially birds. Even had an immature bald eagle land about 100 feet from us while sitting on the steps going down to the water. House was well appointed and very comfortable. Centrally located to many attractions. Secluded and peaceful for a large group highly recommended.

One of the best properties we have stayed at. It was clean, the set up was perfect and location couldn’t be better. It was easy to get to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The kids loved going down to the water at low tide and looking for crabs, rocks and shells. It was easy to get to bar harbor And the views were spectacular!

Our family had a fantastic time at the house enjoying the beautiful views from the back porch of the bay and wildlife. The house worked great for our party of 10, including a wide range of ages from grandparents down to an infant. The property was clean and well stocked for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay away from crowded bar harbor. It was about 30-40 minutes drive to all the Acadia National Park sites. House was clean and well stocked and convenient to stores and restaurants. We spent most of our dinners relaxing at the house away from the crowds. Great sunsets.

This is a particularly lovely house. We spent hours on the deck, watching the birds and seals and breathing in the sweet ocean air. Walking on the beach we saw otter tracks and crabs. And kayaking was easy going on the cove by Kissick Point, and invigorating in the waves farther out. We spent several days at Acadia and Bar Harbor and one in Ellsworth where I especially enjoyed the Stanwood Wildlife Shelter. All of us: me, my children, and my grandchildren said this is the best VRBO house yet. One tiny point - it was bit of a challenge getting our rented single and double kayaks up and down the stairs to the beach. Luckily we had 2 strong guys.

What a lovely home! The somewhat longer distance from Bar Harbor and Acadia (but still only 30ish minutes) is more than made up for by the solitude and peace this house offers. We stayed for a week and didn't see another soul when combing the beach or kayaking (we rented from The Activity Shop). Gorgeous views and a super well-stocked (everything you need in the kitchen, games, etc.) and comfortable home.

The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful area yet close to local attractions like Acadia National Park and stunning coastal views.What I loved most was how accommodating it was for all ages—from the kids who enjoyed the yard and water to the grandparents who appreciated the cozy living areas. The kitchen was well-equipped for family meals, and Kissick Point was an attraction in and of itself.If you're looking for a family-friendly retreat that caters to all ages, this Ellsworth gem is the place to go!

We stayed here with our 2 grown kids and their spouse and friend. It was perfect for our needs. The setting is amazing....waking up to views of the water everyday was perfection! Loved watching the tides come in and out. It was a super easy drive to Ellsworth for groceries and a meal out. Spent almost every day going to Mt. Desert Island to visit Bar Harbor or Acadia. About a 35-40 minute drive, but so pretty we didn't mind. Our family found something for everyone on this trip....hiking, shopping, great meals out, putt putt, exploring, a Lobster and Seal Watching tour, and just being together. Cooked several meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were so comfy and there was plenty of space to spread out. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, spacious, and reasonable rates. Host was so helpful with information. We even enjoyed a campfire one night. Highly recommend!

This perfectly secluded home has an awesome water view that had amazing sunsets! Perfect size for our family with just a short drive to Acadia.

Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Home was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the privacy of the property, and having our own little slice of heaven right on the bay. Host was communicative and very helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

So beautiful and peaceful.

This is an amazing property! It has beautiful water views, clean, well maintained, well supplied for a family of 8, comfortable, spacious, and located in the woods for complete privacy but yet in close proximity to Acadia National Park or a day trip to inner Maine. The fenced in yard is perfect for corralling a toddler safely outside. As a bonus a pair of bald eagles sat on a nearby rock to wish us safe travels home. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. Thank you!

The house was perfect for our family trip! Being right on the water was such a treat when sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The house was welcoming and the kitchen was so well stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for all of us, (6 adults and a 3-year old). The location felt secluded, but was not too far from Acadia which was our ultimate destination. This was our first trip to Maine and we absolutely loved all of the beauty that is there. Our family of 6 (two grandparents, two parents and two teens) had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect, the views were stunning and the property was as described and very quiet. Some of the rooms were smaller than they appeared in the pictures but that is common and wasn't an issue. We had plenty of space and overall I would say that the house was even better in person than it was in the pictures. The great room was a wonderful space for relaxing and with some extended family it was very nice to have the main living area as well for tv watching. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was in very good shape. The house was overall very clean and comfortable. My only small complaint was that the floors could have used a good scrub. The bathroom floors were clean but the rest of the house produced dirty socks. We also were unable to get the jets working in the tub in the upstairs bathroom but we notified the host who said she would look into it. Minor inconvenience. My family could have happily stayed another week! I'd recommend this house to anyone with a larger group, The third bathroom off the kitchen is not pictured but was quite lovely.

We loved our stay. The house was clean and the location was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Great Room had some toys and puzzles to use while we enjoyed the view from all the windows. The view from the porch was perfect and we spent a lot of time on the beach with our 4 year old finding shells, sea glass, rocks and more. We saw heron, eagles, fish, crabs and even saw a seal out on the kayaks that we rented for the week. The location was convenient to downtown Ellsworth and also to Acadia and Bar Harbor. This is a great spot for relaxing and for adventure. We had a great week.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in this large, beautiful home with our 6 adult children. It was equipped with all the necessities, had room to spread out, beautiful views of the water from all of the rooms, comfortable beds, spotless. Ellsworth stores/restaurants were only about a 10-15 min drive, while Bar Harbor/Acadia about a 20-30 min drive. It was very peaceful at the home, which was wonderful after spending the days with the crowds at Acadia. We will cherish all of the memories!

Out family of nine enjoyed a week at Kissick Point. There was plenty of room, plenty of towels. Well equipped kitchen. The location is secluded with a well kept yard and deck. The view was beautiful even on cloudy days. We had a large eagle and its youngster visit at least twice a day. Everyone enjoyed time walking the beach. This was our 6th trip to Maine, first off Mt. Desert Island. It is a short drive to Ellsworth and about 20 minutes to Bar Harbor or Acadia. The owners are very responsive to questions and needs. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms very modern, air conditioning worked great when we had an 89 degree day. Highly recommend this house.

Seven adults had plenty of room and accommodations were good. Second story had no air conditioning. Hot most of the week, for two bedrooms. Property was very beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Doors did not shut well. Internal and external.
