Peaceful Murray Home ~ 8 Mi to Kentucky Lake!

This place was so clean. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve stayed and yet. It was stocked well, our trip was very short and we ate out for all meals so can’t really have any complaints for the kitchen but a quick rummage through the cupboards, it looked like we would have had everything we needed. We are actually planning a longer trip back in March and will hopefully book this place again. I only have a couple suggestions. 1. Take the plastic sheets off the beds, I realize they are mattress protectors but they are very noisy when rolling around in the middle of the night. 2. Out of some sort of shelving in the back bathroom. I didn’t want to put anything in the cupboards for fear of forgetting it so I brought in stools to set our personal stuff on. 3. The front door needs new trim and door seal, there is a large gap where you can see right outside. Even with these minor things, I would gladly stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house had many amenities to help us get through our stay! It was close to the university and that was really nice for us to see our son.

The home was clean and suited our needs perfectly. We even found box fans- which we use at home to sleep but did not travel with. We were so grateful to find them in a closet.

Very clean and restful. Everything in the house was thoughtfully planned. We had ample room to relax and we loved all the guest storage - closets, drawers, shelves, hooks. The location was safe and convenient. I highly recommend this property.

Very lovely/clean house in a super quiet rural neighborhood. Just a stone’s throw from Murray and very close to Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes. We had a great three night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

It was absolutely top drawer—perhaps the best yet in this kind of rental. It was close to family. It allowed us to have time away from family but in a lovely atmosphere.

This property feels like the farm home I visited as a young person. Even though it is remodeled, it still has the charm of a classic farm home. I enjoyed my stay.

My family stayed over the weekend of March 29th 2025 for a wedding in Murray. There were 4 adults and a my 3 year old grand daughter. We were comfortable and had a very nice stay.It was much better than a motel room.Thank you for a clean and comfortable home in a good areathat was close to all the things we needed.

I almost overlooked this gem bc living room furniture looked dated. I’m so glad I did not. If is impeccably clean, has beautiful floors, is spacious, and had everything I needed for a 5 night stay. The decor and furnishings make you feel “at home” immediately. I will defInitely stay here again. P.S. the couch and love seat and so clean and very comfy.

We came for just one night, but wanted somewhere to pick up my daughter from Governor’s scholars for family day where she could come back and rest and just enjoy family. And do some laundry. Very nice little place, pictures on site Do not do it justice, so clean and cute

The house was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful would definitely recommend. We will be back again.

The property itself is beautiful. During the night my family and I would sit outside and listen to the farm animals and all the other little creatures. Definitely recommend if you enjoy nature. anything we wanted to do wasn't too far away, the furthest thing we drove for was kayaking and that was only 40 minutes away. The town was only a 10 minute drive. I will definitely be booking a stay again in the future!
